I’m super happy I grabbed the 10 pack of 150w, they have no stock on 150s now, I looked quick and the 120s are not 48v. Promo code 20NEW will knock another $20 off. These boxes are usually about $400.
Yea, the idea of getting 1500 watts for the price of those drivers and strips available right now seems crazy. Few hundred bucks for 1500 watts of light and a little ingenuity to piece it all together seems like a really budget friendly option.
im still working through all those Delta drivers from last summer. I got 10 each of 120, 150, and 185W for $11 each. plus a bunch of cheap ERP and Samsung 30 / 40W drivers that were like 2 and 3 bucks each in 10 packs. i really wish i could just quit my job and just build lights and grow herbs all day. someday soon hopefully :)

That’s where I’m heading man, I’m finishing my last HID run right now. I have about 80 L09 strips in 3500, 4 and 5k I collected over the past while and 2k watts worth of drivers. Everything was cheap.

I finally deleted my delta bookmark, I sent multiple email asking about future stock, no replies. Too bad, those were nice for the price for sure.

I keep thinking it'd be nice to grab a bit more of some bulk type items like that just to have for people in the local area as things start to pick up. I'm not so handy at building things proper myself, but being able to walk people through an easy build with solid components seems likeit would be a nice move.

I have a bunch of random pieces myself for future ideas, but I just cant justify purchasing more and not having anything to do with them at the moment.

Any leads on some cheap supplements for these white lights?

2 strips per driver / 6 strips/ 360w in a 2x4. Bam :bigjoint:
Best thing is, the plants have no idea what you paid. If you know what I mean..

those would work awesome for Vestas as well in a parallel series config with say 8 strips. and i happen to have 8 Vestas looking for a driver. you're killing me Smalls. trying to get my spending under control.
Haha sorry man, I can relate though, just taking guys down with me

Cheap no, but at $20 ish a strip you can grab some 660/730 mix or straight up 660-730nm strips from growdaddyled. Also offers 480-495mn strips. Price goes up, high power, heat sink, tape options. I haven’t found anything cheap myself, and I have been looking. What I mentioned above is most likely the route I’m taking.

Another RIU user and I got to meet this weekend and I hooked him with with one of the Deltas. All the rest of the ones I have built so far have gone to friends who needed cheap setups. There is definitely a market in LA at least to prebuild DIY fixtures even on Craigslist. I've got a handful of people I am assisting locally with grows, and it's definitely what I would love to do full time.

i keep meaning to grab some of Teknik's Buddies. When I set up my new tent I prob will.

google "Lumileds SunPlus 560 mm Supplemental LED Strip Build and Test". if you are up for soldering you could do those 2 ft builds for @ $5 each. I have the HLG QB288 v1 that use the Lumiled Luxeon chips and they are great. not skilled enough with soldering pcbs or i would give these a go.

The 20NEW code isn’t working for me.. I’m looking at $20 tariff also
Not sure man, I used the code this eve but I’m in Canada, forgot about the tariff you guys have to deal with.

Just remembered, might only apply to $100min carts, if that’s not it, not sure.

I’m not a perks member, I should check it out, I must be at least 10 orders deep.
oh dude. its free shipping on any order over $50 worldwide, plus every time i order they send me coupons bt 10-30% off my next order. plus you earn points. no clue what they mean yet but I am collecting them :). also, fwiw they will price match anywhere else. so if u find it cheaper on digikey or somewhere and arrow has it, you can get them to adjust price in your cart.

Yea, his build was awesome for those diodes. Definitely out of my realm as well though. I was looking around at random red diodes to maybe just apply to some single led starboards, thinking it may be a bit simpler. Again, even that seems daunting and really not fluent enough in soldering and sourcing the proper components to pull even that off.

The buddies are really cool though, the pc reds seem perfect with the wide addition of the red wavelengths and you'd be able to run those along with the strips pretty close to the plants it seems.
