Bruce Banner Autos by seedsupreme. they are "house" seeds but have seemed to have taken off decently. 17 days old from germ . first time grow as well. Promix organic soil and calmag. no veg nutes yet. 18/6 light schedule. tent stays about 75 degrees with 50 to 55 percent humidity. 6 inch fan with 21 inch filter. installed a drip system for ease of watering/feeding. I'd appreciate any tips or feedback. was considering lst but being my first grow im a lil leary about it.

dont freak out about LSTing your plants. its the simplist thing to do except HSTing. with LST, your simply tieing down branches as they grow or bending leaves behind other leaves. also you have the pinch n bend tecneek, but i wouldent try that just yet, not without a propper understanding of what the plant can handle in the way of stress training

Bend them over. You'll appreciate the yield increase. I've(with work and patience) made 90° bends when training my girls. They are resilient, even if you damage her she'll be ok. Sounds like you've researched a bit on LST, if you're worried about killing her, look into high stress training methods, breaking stalks, I've even seen a dude who uses pliers to crush and break his stalks. His girls need some healing time but they come back monstrous.

im familiar with the technique. ill probably start soon as i figure out a nute regimen.

Hay, Just keep doing what you're doing with those girls... They look really healthy. For almost 3 weeks old, yeah. It's difficult to believe it's your first grow, . Maybe bump the daylight temps up to 80-82 and not much more. With a lower humidity. And just give them A 20/4 light cycle. Otherwise, Man they Rockin it for 17 days in!

thanks! ive been looking at alot of grows on GD and mine seems to be im the upper percentile for size/days old. im sure i wanna give them veg nutes soon. just so many out there....

I'm a super soil grower and that works for me, but you can use Neptune’s Harvest fish and kelp. During veg, then switch to their 2-4-1 fish fert in flower. Simple, but you can use the fish and kelp one all the way through. I’ve done it before. For extra K in flower, top dress kelp meal or get a quality liquid kelp.

What size planter's are they in? Autoflower plants don't seem to absorb a healthy living soil as well as a photo period plant can. So it might just still have available nutes in the soil still. Just food for thought ! JM2C

they are in 5 gal fabric pots. im just not sure how "hot" the promix is? some say its decent for the first few weeks and some say to introduce nutes right away. I hear autos are sometimes touchy when it comes to nutes. i was planning on half doses of whatever i end up going with just to play it safe.

update- day 21. one of them never really came back from getting stunned as a seedling.... its growing and healthy but is nowhere near the size of the others as you can see.

WEEK 6 UPDATE
getting a few yellow tips on leaves. not really sure what thats about? maybe not watering till enough run off? kinda hard to judge with fabric pots... anyone?

Yellow tips are two things. Nute burn or copper def. if they remain yellow for a few days before turning dead then it’s copper def.

Im amazed at how common I see this issue personally and with others.

Might of noticed the twisting tips of the leaves as well?

my humidity level maintains about 65%. tent temp bout 80 degrees. give light nutes. big bud, micro tea and a lil calmag every few waterings.

See my humidity was 35-30% so I attributed it to that (the twisting)

Maybe it’s an autoflower trait because I see it a lot but then again some strains I grow don’t twist.

Regardless it doesn’t seem to affect yield at all but im a perfectionist and want to know why because something isn’t optimum.

yea ive researched it as well and have found multiple suggestions but never a definite answer...
