its more a GSC shape
afghan genetics(indica) have tendancy to display 3 fingers leaves, it's normal
Leaf shape is definately another good indicator. Short, fat blades are usually indica heavy and usually limited to 3-5-7 majority, and longer, skinnier leaves are usually Sativa heavy. I grew a few Sativas last year and some of the fan leaves had fingers that were 8" long, and most were 7-11 blades. They absolutely dwarved my hands.
I've got a few young plants and the difference between the indica/ruderalis heavy GDP and the Sativa heavy lemon haze leaves is noticeable, especially over the first two or three nodes. The indica heavy strains start off with a single blade, move to a three blade and then to a stout five blade, where the Sativa heavy moves straight from a single blade to a slim and sharp, 5 blade at the second node and seven for the third node.
Excuse the horse-fly piss stain on the GDP. Moved it outside to water for five mins and a fly touched the leaf for a split second.
