Quick qeustion?

You are saying the ts 1000 is a 1000w light, Mars isn't saying that. They are saying it's a 150w light. You invented the 1000w thing in your mind.
You better re-read I said why does SF 1000 watt light say it's 100 watts but the Mars hydro 1000 watt lights says it's 150 watts

You should re-read what you wrote. You are saying the Mars hydro is a 1000 watt light but it doesn't say that anywhere on the page you linked to. The SF page is misleading for sure.

In reality a Mars ts 1000 is at best equal to a 250w HPS.
So.if I got that light and ran my 2 300 watt actual 130 watt blurple with that I should be good? That would be 410 watts all 3 lights. In a 2x4 tent or would that be overkill?

So what's a good efficient light tjat don't run hot and is a decent price. I am running two of these.mars hydro it says theybare 130 watt
So you don't flower with it?
When they start to flower I put them under the big lights to finish. If you linked your two lights together and kept 1-2 plants in the footprint
with some LST, you'll do fine.
Disclaimer: I grow autos only.

Your blurples are around half as efficient as the ts1000 will be, so you're basically running 3 lights (1 efficient, and 2 inefficient), when you could get the same photon output with just 2 efficient units. Either way, it should be ample light for the space.

Yes I have 1 photoperiod under them two blurples and so far she seems super good. I'm now in week 2 since flip to 12/12 and first time doing LST. What you think? Ps I just use soil meter for watering until I get the hang in weight difference. Inormally grow outside in the ground. Lol

I'd sell the blurples on craigslist, ebay or some such for 150/pair to some noob and get 2 ts1000 or a tsw2000. But that's my opinion. bongsmilie
but if I got 1 2000 wat that's only 200 watt, if I got 100 watt with my.two I would have little.over 400 watts. And inly.doing 2 plants max in 7 gallon pots with LST

I see. So you think 1 mars hydro 2000 watt would be alot more convenient than the 1000 watt and my two blurples?
With 2 plants, keeping them the same size? I think so. Only 1 light to adjust and same light across the whole space.
I run multiple lights (individually powered COBs) but I have autos at all stages so it's a lot easier than setting plants at all different heights.

I mean, you already have the blurples. You can run with them no problem. I was saying what I'd do. I sold my old COBs (8 ) and bought new, identical ones (10) only because they ran 10W higher than the previous version so take my advice as you may. :bigjoint:

I prefer more smaller lights than one big one. So I like 2 HLG 135's in my 2x4 veg tent vs a single 260.

HLG doesn't pull that misleading bullshit. And 10% off if you use code "RIU10".

Definitely a good route to go.
