Adderall... my new "favourite"

alrighty, guys and dolls.... I need some info.

just recently found out a friend's teen son got in some drug trouble. One his friends takes adderal. Another friend asked him for some and he wouldn't give it up. That friend then went and asked my friend's son to snag him some and he did.

Well, the kid ended up in the hospital with a racing heartbeat and now my friend's kid is claiming he only gave him one. The prescribed kid's father checked the bottle and there are twenty pills missing.

I've never done adderal...don't know anything about it. How many pills, or what dosage, would lead to a bad reaction?

I like it a lot, too.Just stay hydrated, and don't do it all the time.XR is the best.
I recently started fucking around with it a couple weeks ago... fucking great. Blows coke out of the water IMO (no ridiculous inflation orfiending, much longer last, better effects), and I really don't even feel likesmoking bud during the "high". Plus it's provided a huge boost in my performance at work, and its out of your system really quickly.
Plus it doesnt really start to fucking with my heart hardcore till the 2nd or 3rd consecutive day.
It depends on the person. Some people are not able to handle it, or any drugs as well.Weight plays a role, the thinner you are in general, the less you need. But there are always exceptions to the rule.If the kid takes 20 of them at once, that's bad! Damn.My older brother will pop 4 30 mg XR's at a time, then two about 12 hours later.I take two, and I'm good.

I'm not sure, but he's fairly light, it may not take much.Next time, for information purposes, if anyone you know actually feels like they're having a heart attack, have them pop an aspirin.Try googling adderall overdose symptoms and see.And if anyone does do adderall, try eating food if it's working on you too much. That's all I got for now.
No. I about shit myself when my friend told me it was adderal. I instantly thought of this thread.

I have a heart condition myself where my heart races for no reason. I carry aspirin for that reason. Ironically, my cardiologist blames my heart prob on my crazy cocaine years. I stay away from anything like that now.

Unfortunately, this kid is young and impressionable and I fear he was just trying to look "cool" to the other kids.

Well, talk to him about getting a backbone! The sooner he realizes he doesn't need to fit in,the better!

Unfortunately it's not my kid. It's the son of my best friend from high school. It's not my place to get involved. I'm forced to sit on the sidelines and only offer my friend advice.

Your first few weeks/months effects will slowly dwindle until the effect isn't at all what it first was. Use it only when you need it, and not that often.

Amphetamines are evil. I did enjoy the high though. Snorting two of em and popping 4 made me tweak for hours. But the shit is addictive.

Gabriel420, if you are:

1) Staying up for several days straight; and
2) Getting popped for warrants; and
3) Comfortable taking a drug because it "doesn't really start fucking with my heart hardcore till the 2nd or 3rd consecutive day"; and
4) None of this really bothers you

Then maybe you should seriously consider where your life is headed :!: Take some shrooms and stay home alone and do some critical self-analysis. If you've never reached a point in your life where you've said to yourself, "I think I'm really starting to fuck up and I better slow down a little" then maybe now is the time. Or just start using meth. Hell, if you're going to fuck around with amphetamine and live like a crackhead, why not do it properly? :fire:

I took Adderall/Dexedrine in college for several years. I got it legally from my doctor for ADHD. I was prescribed to take up to 50 mg of Dexedrine (IR - immediate release) a day. I did that a few times when the workload was really high, and I could hardly tolerate the anxiety that that dose produced. Most of the time I took 20 mg in the morning and maybe another 15-20 mg four hours later. This dose didn't make me "high," but it made it so I could sit in the library all afternoon and not mind studying so much (not to say that this is normal or healthy, because Dexedrine let me study harder than a person without ADHD could study). On the days I didn't have to study I didn't take it because it made me feel stressed out if I did. I never put it up my nose.

After a few years, I started to notice that I was getting random chest pains when I took it and even when I didn't. It really freaked me out that this drug I was taking to perform better was probably hurting my heart. So I quit seeing my doctor and I quit taking any kind of stimulant (except for the occasional iced cafe mocha).

My work performance has definitely suffered. It used to be so easy to sit down with a pile of papers and work away for hours without it bothering me. Now it is almost impossible to sit down and complete the boring tasks that I had no problem with while medicated. I don't have the same drive to achieve, nor do I have the self-discipline that the drug gave me, and I don't expect to do as well in my career (less money for less work), but I'm a more balanced person overall and I'm not stressed out.

In short: Amphetamine will make you feel better at first, you can work longer and party harder. Eventually, it will quit working so well, and you will become dependent on it to do the things you did just fine before without it.
^^^^^ this.

basically medical amphetamine. i've never actually done adderall but i used to abuse other amphetamines a lot like dextroamphetamine(dexadrine) and methylphenidate(ritalin). adderall is actually a mixture of 2 different amphetamine salts. one is dextroamphetamine and the other is levoamphetamine.

that was years ago tho back in high school. i would always snort it. once i got into snorting/smoking coke and popping ecstasy i never went back. but now all i do is smoke weed and consume alcohol once in a while. them other drugs, even alcohol can cause a lot of problems. although i know a lot of ppl that have problems with spending all there money on weed. as for hard drugs, it didnt take long for most of my friends to fuck there lives up. im probably lucky i quit when i did. i never touched a needle, never went to rehab, or even got in trouble with the law. im kind of a lot mroe responsible than most ppl tho. and i guess i have very strong will power. LOL people i know that went to rehab that claim to have will power make me laugh. if you have strong willpower, you wouldnt be in rehab/detox in the first place i tell them. i also learned to hate junkies and trust no one.

anything that cause's chemical dependence will cause your body to go through withdrawal if those chemicals aren't maintained. Then you go through hell tell it all leaves your system, that's for people abusing the hell out of them. If you do it every now and then you might be able to ween yourself off without dying but other then that will power has little to do with it.

dying from withdrawl is very rare and more common for opiates and alcohol. and its also especially rare for younger/middle aged people as long as they are in somewhat good health. the people you worry about are those thats are at the point where there so bad that they become anorexic and/or unable to take care of themselves to the point where they're malnourished. i have no sympathy for junkies. a lot of them are all the same. they lie, steal from friends/family, they go to rehab to look good for the courts when they get in trouble by the police. they have kids that they cannot support and wonder why they get them taken away and also abuse their kids medication. i've met a lot of junkies in my life, i mean A LOT! i live in a small town with low crime for the most part, but prescription drug abuse is a huge problem. all these kids have life good and they take it for granted, get into drugs which they know from the start they shouldnt be doing, then they fuck up and want sympathy. i've been thru amphetamines and coke withdrawls, it fucking sucks, sometimes you even feel like your dying. but what i did i did to myself and knew before all the consequences and i blame only myself. people have called me a drug addict, told me i need help, this that and the other things and i proved them all wrong. no rehab, no jail, no trouble, rehab is for the weak.

I wasn't speaking about people using moderation. I'm talking about people popping 300 mg+ a day, after they build up that tolerence, I know it can be quit without life threatening with-drawls, but im just warning that it can and it will consume you fast if you don't use moderation.. that goes for any opiate or anything causing chemical dependency, k-pin is the devil
