Soooo I finished my first grow and...!!!!

I'm brand new to growing an I'm very pleased to say she is cut an drying as we speak! But being new to all this an there being soooo much to take in... I have some trim no much ( probably should save it an collect more)but it's in the freezer. But I'm curious about dry ice hash I have the bubble bags I guess my question is. Is it better to have more dry ice then material? Or should it be even or more buds then ice? An from what I've read 73 mic bubble bags are best.. anyone with any experience in this with abit of advice would be the coolest kid in the candy store! Thanks!!

you should not just use one bag, go for the three bags and have various grades of hash, i know its great hash and i have never made it because i just throw my trim arway

oh yes, you need to run the trim up to 4 times to get everything out of it, thats why the three bags

K I understand the running the material through a few times to make sure you get all you can..but I'm just curious how I should go about it. I would assume you want more dry ice then material because you would think as the ice evaps if there's not enough of it to keep said material cold wouldn't it in turn become wet (condensation) if there isn't enough ice?? So I'm thinking more ice then material but that's just my way of thinking I could be completely wrong I just want to make sure I get it right before I waste a oz of trim an lil nugs

I personally use regular old ice. I know it's quite jurassic of me however it stays cold as fuck and I can run it 4 -5xs without needing to add more ice.

It's cheap, effective, and frankly safer than dry ice.

I've even used snow on several occasions, works well. Not that you're likely to find snow right now, but there's many way to go about it.

If you harvested any of the plants in this thread and they are drying then I fear you fell pray to harvesting early my friend.

She was way... Way.. stunted I bout drowned her a few times then I transplanted her before I was savvy to the fact that wasn't the best idea an that messed her up bad ..but this is what she looked like I mean I looked a the trichomes before I picked her an they looked cloudy (although looking cloudy to me could be completely wrong..) but I mean I might have picked her early but she's curing now an I smoked a bud to try her out an she was nice..

Congrats on making it to harvest your first grow. There are a lot that don't. Now just take what you've learned and continue to improve. GL.

Yeah I noticed the buds are what would be considered "airy" which is what's got me thinking I may have picked it too early .. but the trichomes were where they needed to be by the looks of them...but by me stressing her out soooo bad im abit on the ropes thinking maybe that had something to do with the lack of swelling as you have pointed out?. And yes I have started me next round Bruce banner auto x big buds ,a Santa Maria auto and a zskittles auto. The zskittles an banner have popped an started to show their tap roots but still waiting on the want Maria. But while I have you guys attention I do have a question or two about this next round if you all could be so kind to spare me a moment of you alls time.

K thanks, so my first run was a blueberry amnesia haze auto. I put her in a seed started an when it sprouted I put her straight into the soil (which was a super living soil) an it soon after started to show nitrogen problems. An over abundance to be more exact. So to avoid this problem I purchased the seed an cutting starter soil for my next round. I guess my question is this. Do you think it would be alright to plant my seed into the started soil which would be surrounded by the other living soil so I can completely avoid transplanting an burning any of them up in the beginning from over abundance of nutrients in the regular living soil?? I would think it would work...the roots would slowly grow through the seed starter soil an into the other soil..but then again I'm new at this I could be completely wrong .
(Think a three gallon pot filled with living soil with a cup full removed from the center and a cup of seed starter soil out in it's place.. then the seed place in the started soil.)
