Another "is it ready" thread...

56 Days flowering. White widow. I started flushing a few days ago.. I figure i have about another 2-3 weeks?

Microscope is in the mail by the way so ill get some nice close-ups soon. But when i zoom in macro focus they mostly look cloudy, not many amber. Im looking for couch lock so i want 30-40% amber...

I want to make sure i dont harvest too soon because this is the best bud ive personally ever seen in my life... and dont want to fuck it up!

thoughts, opinions?

WW usually takes 8-9 weeks..so 2 or 3 more weeks sounds about right... Looking Good!!

well im already on week 8. so 2-3 more weeks put me at 10-11 weeks..

Thats basically why i made this thread. I know my buds need another 2 more weeks, just cant understand why ww is taking 10 weeks..?

if your looking for a real couch lock high its hard to let it go "too long" just be very patient. i'd say start flushing now and in 2 weeks your golden but the microscope will tell the real story....looks delicious btw.

What type of lighting... Just be patient and wait for that scoop in the mail... better later than to early

I already started flushing 3 days ago.

Man now i want my scope even more.. lol.. i might go to radio shack and buy a cheapie' to hold me over!

Are you counting flowering from the first day of 12/12 of from when pistils first appeared? Flowering officially starts when the female flower appears. Just wait for your scope and check the trichs, patience is a virtue. And btw, what a BEAUTIFUL plant!

With the bud looking so tasty its hard for me to wait. But thankfully, im not dry and have buds to hold me over.

Off to the shack! let's hope they have em' in stock!

Update: Got the microscope.

It's weird. If i had to take a guess i would say the WW is 15% amber, 15% clear 70% cloudy. I almost wish i didnt start flushing 6 days ago because i think this buds got a good 2-3 weeks left.

What do u guys normally see as far as trichome change in color in regards to time. How long for a cloudy trichome to turn amber?

Some of the trichomes are red, some amber, some light red/cloud. most cloud, and some are clear...

What you guys think?

I'm wondering the same thing. After my current grow, I am 100% sure I have always picked early. Fifteen years ago everybody said pick when 2/3 of the pistils had withered. I really want the best, heck that's why I'm growing.

looks great bro, but patience is the key to great ganja. some people just cant wait. from the pics i would say maybe 2 weeks left, especially if you jus started to flush. keep it up, late

Daaaaaaaaamn those are some fine ass girls there! Don't get impatient! 2 or 3 weeks of flowering left . . . then another 2 or 3 weeks of proper curing! Don't get impatient. You're 4-6 weeks from that couch-lock so just plan accordingly.

They are looking fantastic!

easier said then done! But i will be patient. i already smoked this bud when it was premature and it still got me ripped (head only). So i cant wait for it to be ripe.

My only concern is that im about 1 week into flushing already. I have a good feeling the buds have another 2 weeks to go. That puts me at 3 weeks of flushing.... Is that excessive? Will it cause damage?

FYI about 1/2 leafs are completely yellow already. Im not worried i know its supposed to happen. My concern is if i need another 2 weeks of flush what will happen then..?:confused:

i wouldn't worry too much about it. the fact is if you absolutely had to you could cut em today and still have some amazing bud. keep doing what yur doing. if you're sure you're going to leave em at least another 2 weeks give em one last dose of nutes and then go back to flushing. i dose of nutes and a week and 1/2 flush is not going to give you any issues with taste. stop stressing man. patience obi wan. the force is strong with you.
