I thought a question on re vegging would benefit the op.Try posting your own thread. Generally thread pirates are ignored.
Are you flying the jolly rogerI thought a question on re vegging would benefit the op.
I wasn't aware of the term thread pirates lol thanks for heads up.
Yes it appears so, my bad...Are you flying the jolly roger
This plant was grown from seeds that came from a Sour Diesel mother that was crossed by a hermied AK47... the daughters are very Diesel-ishhate to get off topic, but what strain and breeder ae we looking at ....original pics from OP...beginning of the thread. thnx.
Hi welcome to the forum... Ignore that nonsense about pirates it's absolutely acceptable to ask questions in posts it's called a tangent, sometimes the tangents are more interesting than the op.hate to get off topic, but what strain and breeder ae we looking at ....original pics from OP...beginning of the thread. thnx.
Thanks man. I have been growing over a decade and typically harvest 100 plus plants a year. Always looking for something new to try.Hi welcome to the forum... Hello, thanks for updating. I'm beginning my flower now but share the same sentiments on the larger plants VS a bunch of smaller ones. Got a 4x4 as well but can't see myself fitting more than 3/4 monsters in there. Mother plant I have now is huge, and I came across your beauty when I was looking for info on possibly revegging later. Never done that myself. Did that not go as planned or took too long? Also, did you take the clones after your pic in the OP? Lastly, can I ask what type of lights you use? Here's an update on this grow... first of all, the flower on the mother plant is dried and cured and turned out great. That plant yielded over a pound of dry bud. The taste and high are great so I am going to get this bud analyzed, have an appointment with the lab on Monday and I'll post the results as soon as I get them. Meanwhile, I got my cloner working and I took a bunch of cuttings late in flower and they all rooted! I stuck them in solo cups and I've transplanted 3 into bigger pots to grow out. Now I have 7 monster clones from the mother. Not exactly sure what to do now, as I don't have space to grow them all. So I'll keep them for now until I get the analysis back... if it tests great, I'll keep cloning and growing this plant. If it's meh I'll try some other seeds. I do have extra clones. I can't see trying to grow 5 or more plants in a 4x4 tent when one plant can yield so much... I think I'll try and grow three. What would you do?
That plant took 90 days to finish, fox tailed quite a bit. I took clones after the pic in OP... they took several weeks to reveg and they were bizarre-looking before they starting growing properly, then I removed all the weird leaves and old flower. Now the monster clones all look great. I have a California Lightworks SolarExtreme 1000 - it's 800w... expensive but super light!Hello, thanks for updating. At first I had trouble getting the clones taken in flower to root, but once I got my cloner working right and with patience they all did root and transplanted well. I used to think you could only take clones in veg, but now I think taking them in flower is actually better. The monster clones are highly branched and more mature at the time I transplanted them compared with plants grown from seed or clones taken during veg. Who knew!?Hello, thanks for updating. So true, great advice!I think the slower rooting and weird growth of monster clones can be used to your advantage.
If I take clones from potential mother's I don't want to be feeding and maintaining them daily for the duration of the flower cycle + drying and tasting time, with a monster clone keeping it compact for 3 months in a 1ltr pot is easy done and minimal work involved.

Both are the same age cut on Feb 11th, I've grown, dried and smoked a tester of the the mother.
The bigger one I started preparing 22nd April until that point they were both the same size etc.
It's equally useful to have a slow cloning method .
