New grower needing a confidence boost

I said I enjoy the artistic aspect of blurple photos, but I moved on from using them many years ago. We're not a bunch of suckers for upgrading the technology.

Wow man, is it just not possible for you to take a pic without those annoying lights on? Your plants should not look like they come from the Land of OZ, you even use blurple lighting for your avatar? I guess you just don't realize how annoying that is. Either way how about doing a couple just for us viewers? And also if you could post some pics of under the canopy showing the training of those 2 plants filling the 50 square feet, thanks.

I’ll do that for you when I get home from work, even though I will never understand why colored light would bother anyone and despite the insults. The floor space is 5x 10 yes but there is about 18 inches in the back that isn’t filled. The ceiling sloped that’s why I had to use that tripod light Back there because there’s no room for anything on the ceiling

I mean no insults man, the reason I ask for the pics is you cannot really gauge a plants health under that lighting, that's the only reason. Personally I dont care what lights you grow with, results is all that matters..

Those lights look way cooler and I know my buddy spent 4 grand on his but his two gorilla glues produced the same weight as my two northern lights????????????

How would you know better lights aren't outproducing you when you haven't had a single harvest?

I had to use blurples for a while got an hlg 600rpsec, same pheno so much bigger and frostier buds. Its light and day, your lighting makes a huge diff in end result and I did not like blurples at all. Working under them trying to understand if your plant has health issues so much pain, then you close it and its dark af in the tent. I just hate those damn purple lights, god I hope I wont have to use one ever again

i still run my Commodore 64 too
takes forever to load windows. i installed it 2 years ago still waiting for it to open. why upgrade?!. its not like the new computers are any better. i mean its the same thing right floppy drive keyboard monitor.
now if windows would just finish loading.... i can finish my snake game.

this is your first grow and youre already counting chickens.
what kind of led chips are in that unit? whats the draw per each led? how many watts is each led rated for? does it have a reflector? whats the angle? what drivers are they using?whats the ppfd? im sure theres smoke commin out your ears by now. i bet you dont have an answer to any of those questions. so to sit there and tell us you know whats up is quite comical actually. for someone who understands electronics your claims are completely ludicrous.

you said this is your first grow. you have yielded nothing yet. you asked for a confidence boost and ppl gave you honest advice. it sounds like you wanted an ego boost and everyone to yes man you. sorry we tell the truth it's just how it is. good luck with your grow! Those blurples will grow some buds just not what you are hoping for. Definitely upgrade when you can.
