Whats it sativa or indica? I heard 20-4 for sativa and 18-6 for Indica or most strains. So thought I would ask some professionals.I only did one auto run and I did it with 20-4, I didnt have any issues and plants seemed to enjoy it.
It was mostly indica leaning hybrids if im not wrong, one was Gorilla Glue Auto, the other was Gelato Auto. Keep in mind tho they were not the original strains I dont thinkWhats it sativa or indica? wear and tear on electric things turning off and on too.No downsides unless you care about the couple extra hours of power usage.
When do you let them breath?24/0.
never. When do you let them breath?
Cannabis respires and transpires under 24/0 light. As stated it's a C3 plant. When do you let them breath?
Honestly still question the method. Still listening. Max 20/4 here. My grows are better if I allow my plants to fully cycle everyday and repair or rest during the down time.never.
i veg photos 24/0 too. C3 plants.
LOL. The breath was a joke. Yet is it not needed to rest for health by means of stress reduction is my point.Cannabis respires and transpires under 24/0 light. As stated it's a C3 plant.
Focus on your setup. Sounds like you can get away with any light schedule you want. If you feel your lights are over powered for your tent, run them 18/6. If your light is lacking leave it 24/0.Whats it sativa or indica? I heard 20-4 for sativa and 18-6 for Indica or most strains. So thought I would ask some professionals.
i think DLI is a big factor on whether or not plants droop from too much light.Honestly still question the method. Still listening. Max 20/4 here. My grows are better if I allow my plants to fully cycle everyday and repair or rest during the down time.
But I always say whatever works for you. Our variables change by a dozen miles in locale. LOL.
Central air and overkill fan with temp controls. No issue. External drivers. And a cold blooded brass girdle wearing wife in winter. LOL. I was wrong. Variables change by mates. LOl. I also would make spices if I used my lights on full.i think DLI is a big factor on whether or not plants droop from too much light.
but with 24/0, it's much easier to control and maintain temps. during the dark, i'd probably need to run a heater. i'd rather give them light than heat.
i don't do autos anymore but i think for them (if i did again), i'd turn down intensity for vegging phase and then crank it up for flower. but still keep the 24/0.Central air and overkill fan with temp controls. No issue. External drivers. And a cold blooded brass girdle wearing wife in winter. LOL. I was wrong. Variables change by mates. LOl. I also would make spices if I used my lights on full.
Thanks I did a Auto Great White Shark and it came out really loose and strainy buds and I did 18-6 you think 2 extra hours of light would have harden the buds up?i don't do autos anymore but i think for them (if i did again), i'd turn down intensity for vegging phase and then crank it up for flower. but still keep the 24/0.
my veg leds are pretty weak compared to my bloom led room.
like you said, there really isn't a right/wrong answer. to each his own.
If you are at or below the plants max DLI there is no need for darkness in veg, or ever for autos. Plants below that DLI level don't need "rest" or "repair". It's just not a thing.Honestly still question the method. Still listening. Max 20/4 here. My grows are better if I allow my plants to fully cycle everyday and repair or rest during the down time.
