Has any one worked with a lot of plants on the sea of green principles. Jus trimming them sad they grow to quick. They super lemon haze 50 and 20 Bruce b. So far kinda all good jus getting worried about few calyxs swollen or bit fatter. I though they should stay thin ish wi few hairs. Thank ery one
 
Pics can help if you can, I'm wanting to try but I have no room presently. If you've got a pheno that stacks nicely, they'll end up bud to bud across the whole thing, from what I've read and seen. Keep us updated.
 
The idea of a SOG is to trim and lollipop underneath to allow just a single stem (possibly couple of sides) to grow and flower.

then you pretty much are just harvesting tops rather than all other fluffy unders etc.

root clones, flower clones as soon as they’re rooted and you should be set for SOG.

slight trim and shape after stretch and just keep feeding as you would until finished.

How high should the lights be? I've got ts600s from mars hydro. 2x2 footprint.

Sorry I’m not an LED guy as I use MH/HPS.

Usually most LED guys go for between 18-24” I think but that all depends on the power of the LED being used.

Ya jus want to put ya hand under light obviously wen switched on and if it’s a tad to hot for your hand then chances are it will be 2 hot for dem tomatoes 100 %. Oh and turn ya isolating fan off , jus while checking ya no. Having said that I have no idea wot heat that gives off but same rule should apply I TINK. Although the led’s can give off damaging light if to close so ok ignore the hand test , that’s for hps hot bulbs. Someone will put ya Wright on here though sorry about that bro

No same rule does not apply mate hence why I didn’t say this to him.

your hand won’t get as hot under led due to the lack of IR coming from the lighting source.
 
I just didn't know if it had to be closer for that specific technique. I keep mine 16"-24" away depending on the life, didn't know if it was different.

Wait are you saying 50 lemon haze plants and 20 bruce banners? That's quite a grow :weed:

As long as the light reaching the plants is within the correct PPFD for LED etc you should be fine.

9 clones in a 4 x 4 tent on 12/12 with a 1000 watt hps, best sog i ever did. sorry but i never weigh my weed, but it was northan lights. 9th gen from what we think was colchacinie treatment, not giberellins as i first thaught, thats according to the guy from collage i got the seeds from.
one thing though, only one of the seeds was a pollyploid, but what a pollyploid it was. i gave the rest of the seeds away as gifts after finding them so easy to clone, wish i had kept them now for the posability of more pollyploids.

it was a mass of what you could call branches, it looked like a cauliflower stem with a single flowering head that grew to about 12" tall, funnily enough i had a wide moheachan at the time and this thing had the same shaped flower to it.
i used to carry it around in a plastc bag showing everyone, because everyone wanted to see it.
but apart from that, the guys at collage that the seeds came from were messing round with colchacine amounghst other things.
thats all i can tell you about it,because thats all i know. i had it in a gallon plastic cider bottle that i cut the top out of to grow it in.
but only 1 in three seeds i germinated showed this, one i gave away and the other i took cuttings from and proved to be an easy one to clone so kept it as a mother for a time.
i would turn up at the club house on the back of a bike and put it on the table for all to see. made for a great talking point, even to the bikers who wernt too happy about me being there in the first place
