I have a Aquarium with Koi , great tea every week for free with no brewing involved !
I have 2, soon to be 3 Koi ponds where I live. What are the nutrients high in N P K? I used some pond slime to make a tea to see how it would work but dealing w/ tp shock so waiting for that to pass.

The fish are very fun imo. I love to watch them swim around and(iknow its childish) i like to mess with em a bit - they start chewing on my hand and it tickles

~ Thread Reserection ~

Didn't want to start a new thread since this one is here already. : )

75 Gal Discus tank.
The fish actually came from Singapore via Florida.

I'm still figuring out the live plants so gimme a break.
The fish are super finicky about the water conditions so adding chem's to the water fordiscus4.jpg the plants could harm the fish & I'd really rather lose a 10.00 Amazon Sword than a 60.00 Fish.

I can totally see that. I bet it's a lot of work maintaining them.

Before covid I would often go hang out at Ripley's Aquarium and watch the fish.

Discus are absolutely high maintenance - a minimum of weekly 50% water changes & tank cleanings but being retired allows me to do this no prob.

Cool looking tank there - I'd love to see it in person.

Are they salt water fish?

Ripley's is really cool. I love getting baked and watching the jellyfish. There are no bubbles or currents in the water so you forget it's there, like watching aliens float around. You can also pet stingrays if you want, I haven't built up the nerve to touch one yet.
