Too close to light?

I've been told by a few people that my plant is too close to the light because it is too short and bushy it is approx 17"
I kinda like the way it looks
Any thoughts

Yes, get a lux meter and get it exact, 30k lux for LED and 50k lux HPS flowering

Looks fine. Light distance is going to be dependent on the light used.
