As a mycophile ive always been super hesitant to mess around with ANY Amanita's, does anybody have any experience with these? I know the trip is super intense, I just dont munch on a hunch.

Interesting..I've tried fly agaric with no effect, Idk if I maybe ruined them in the drying but ate a fair number with no effects?
Disappointing lol, I'd read stories about folks drinking piss from someone intoxicated with amanitas and getting high.Interesting..
Yeah, i know all to well about the Destroying Angel, thats the primary reason i dont mess usually with Amanita's and LBMs, even the Amanita caesareaI wouldn't mess around with them.
Whatever you do don't inadvertently eat Amanita Phalloides AKA Death Cap. If it doesn't kill you you won't have a functioning liver and will be waiting on a transplant list. People die every year from them by confusing them with edible varieties.
We tried the Amanita Muscaria back when I was in High School. They grow all over the place. Nice looking mushroom. We didn't get high but we barely ate any as we were somewhat scared. I never tried them again and stuck to psilocybin mushrooms which also grow everywhere in the PNW.Yeah, i know all to well about the Destroying Angel, thats the primary reason i dont mess usually with Amanita's and LBMs, even the Amanita caesarea
No burnsite morels? Sadly, since i moved to the south from the northeast, good mushroom flushes are sparce at best. Sure, you get oysters, multiple species of Chants (smooths, regs and cinnabars) and lions mane and boletes, but Hens and Morels dont grow here..We tried the Amanita Muscaria back when I was in High School. These days the only mushrooms I pick are culinary ones like Chanterelles, Matsutake, Chicken of the Woods, and a couple others. I don't think I can handle the mind altering shrooms anymore.
I've ran across a few morels but tons of false morels which I don't pick or eat. I've also hunted for truffles. Some places I go in the coast range the forest floor is covered in orange from all the Chanterelles. I haven't been picking for a couple years but I do want to hit some of the burn areas this fall. They have a bunch of places closed off but I'm a hiker and I don't need a trail. Closed or not I'm going. What are they going to do other than tell me to hike out if I get caught in a closed off area?No burnsite morels? My lips swell like i had a botox injection if i eat chickens, you alcohol and chickens dont mix
