You might want to consider moving your light closer to the seedlings. One of those is stretching too far. You want to keep them short at this point.
With the lights closer the plant won't stretch for them. Then you will get a much healthier stem that won't fold over and die.
Also once they have broken the top of the soil it's normal for them to seem to slow down in growth. Don't worry about it. The plant is developing its root system. O.ce the roots are more established it will start growing at a faster pace.
Good luck friend!
thank you so much for giving me these advices! i moved my cfl closer and also i added two small led spotlights for a total of 30 watts (white spectrum) and the stretch has stopped now it grows well and healthy. the other two follow vigorously I understand, so I don't have to worry about the initial stress since the "slowness" is normal. I am more relieved .. I did not want to carry on shoots that would immediately suffer from some growth problem. You might want to consider moving your light closer to the seedlings. Yes i have a little ventilator that blows fresh air inside but not directly on the seedlings..a fan blowing across them will also help to keep them short and stocky, do you have a fan you can use for this?
It's fine. Don't worry.
Why would you put young seedlings in direct springtime sunlight?what happened? the stem thinned in one place and bent while they were in the sun. so there is probably nothing more to be done what is a bacterium? the heat? I hope the other two are saved
They stayed under 200 watt cfl with another 2 15 w led i have erroneously thinked that they could go out in the sunWhy would you put young seedlings in direct springtime sunlight?
When they can go at direct sunlight?i thinked that with the frist pair of leaves they're "big" enough for the sun..Why would you put young seedlings in direct springtime sunlight?
Well, that one's a goner. That's why it's important to keep them short and stocky when they are young. Next time keep them shorter by keeping the light closer. Also keep them inside until they have grown a few nodes at least.what happened? the stem thinned in one place and bent while they were in the sun. so there is probably nothing more to be done what is a bacterium? the heat? They can go out anytime if you leave them in the shade for a weekWhen they can go at direct sunlight?i thinked that with the frist pair of leaves they're "big" enough for the sun..
But hey is not mid august sun but i assume is strong enogth to harm a little plant
Thanks for the reply i understand.Well, that one's a goner. That's why it's important to keep them short and stocky when they are young. Next time keep them shorter by keeping the light closer. Also keep them inside until they have grown a few nodes at least.
Don't sweat it. These things happen, you learn a lesson and start again.
Good luck friend!
So when those reach a few internodes what i have to do?sorry but i don t understand "keep them in the shades". Maybe expose the plant only to morning sun and not over 12 am?They can go out anytime if you leave them in the shade for a week
Even a full size plant needs to harden off in the shade before moving to direct sun
Right, the direct sun can be over 100 Watts per square foot, and that's not power converted from the wall, that's actual light power. They can go out anytime if you leave them in the shade for a week

Ok thank you very much!i e learn a new lesson..so my 200 watt cfl is not the sun ahaha i understimate the power of our beautiful Star..Right, the direct sun can be over 100 Watts per square foot, and that's not power converted from the wall, that's actual light power.
Shade meaning not direct sun, like under a porch or large tree.
Guys i swear!last question..They can go out anytime if you leave them in the shade for a week

Not sure cause I have never done that to my plantsGuys i swear!last question..
I noticed a slight thinning in the second youngest shoot .. if I had kept her for another ten minutes in the sun she would have died too ..
now said that she is still standing and she looks very healthy is it possible that she survives ?, can the stem regenerate at that point if I keep her safe?i hope so..
