I didn't say no society...I think your missing my point, but that's cool. You seem to be an intelligent person so even though I'm not getting the point across I think you generally understand what I'm saying. Alaska is part of the U.S. - state property - still part of the system in my opinion. The only place I know that the governments from around the world don't control is Antartica & they even have some of that. I do think it would be pretty difficult to live a comfortable life there which is probaby why governments haven't bothered snatching it up to charge people for.
