Trying to grow outdoors without getting seeded

I live close to a commercial hemp farm. Close enough that my outdoor plants get seeded.
This year, im going to try growing autoflowers. If I germinate May 1st, I should be able to harvest before the pollen from the farm starts flying around. (Southern Ont. Climate).
I have had some luck with late flowering photoperiod plants, they seem to flower when the hemp farm is done. But its tough to keep them going into late Nov. with the frosts we get.
What do you think? A greenhouse wouldnt keep out pollen?
Eventually I will grow indoors but not possible yet.

Have you considered light dep? I've done it here in WA to beat the rainy season -- but it's a lot of fucking work.

I had a dark area under my deck that was walled off with big tarps and moved my plants with a hand truck every day so they started 12/12 very early.
The down side is that anything over about 10 gallons becomes impractical.
For moving plants without a hand truck, 2 gallon grow bags are the sweet spot.

In a greenhouse you just cover them with tarps every evening.

Another option would be lights in the greenhouse so your plants flower after pollen season, but as you said, cold temps would be a problem unless you're close to the equator.

Good luck.

Sorry to hear about the hemp farm so close.

If you try a greenhouse, be sure to use some kind of air filter on your intake air so the pollen doesn't sneak in. Good luck.
