Ok whew...now don't laugh but I started out with just dirt nice black dirt ..then took eggs shells and I just cracked the egg and threw shells into a bowl crushed them up.added a little warm water and scooped some into each plant then used water from it to water them. Then once they were in the next phase I used used coffee grounds the plants loved it and I also now at the end I've used shrimp shells crushed up ..and unsulphhered black strap molasses and warm water ..but I use like a cap ful to like a half fallen of warm water ..and that is suppose to make the bud taste sweet or just make it better..I can tell y more but I hope you get the jest of it all.oh and I heard coming up that once all hair has turned brown put the plants away for 1 and half weeks or 2 so buds can grow the rest of way ..no water either interesting stuff
Yep. That's a straight up old school hippy recipe right there. I like hearing this stuff. What you're doing is fine but my two cents to add is when composting it's a general rule of thumb not to use any meat/animal byproducts, to avoid any nasty bacteria getting in your soil hence into your plants. That being said plants love eggshells and fishferts so it's good to use them, just make sure to pasteurize them in the oven after rising them to make sure nothing gets in your grow. If you're doing that sounds spot on.

This may be why the buds aren't developing the way you're expecting. What sort of wattage are your lights? LED grow light? What's the other bulb? What is your grow space?
I figured this was exactly your setup. That grow light is not enough, and I'm not sure what that other one is but you seem smart enough so I'm sure they were at least selling it as a grow light or perhaps misinformed. I'll be blunt that's not enough light. I bet that's like a 10-15 watt light, 30 if you're lucky. You need like 100 watt minimum, and 200+ watts is better. You can do things like low stress training to keep it flat and maximize light coverage but you'd still need more wattage.
well your right since this was posted i redid things..and i put more wattage on and bam!! things started back up -so happy ...id take pictures but i already put them to bed - so tomorrow i shall show the improvements the bulbs made and mylar surrounding the whole thing again thanks Killaki for your advice and not judging ..
