I use a paint brush and just dab it on gently. I have put it in a bag and placed it over a branch shaking it. This way is more messy and haphazard. I don't see myself using anything other than a paint brush, it just gives you so much more control on exactly where the pollen ends up.I have some pollen and want to pollinate one plant in a room of several. Suggested methods?
I’m concerned about pollinating the entire crop instead of just one plant.I use a paint brush and just dab it on gently. I have put it in a bag and placed it over a branch shaking it. P.s. fans can blow pollen from a bud on to others so keep that in mind when making your bud choice.
That’s my concern. I don’t want to dust one and every bitch at the party gets knocked upYou guys dont think plants in the same space will get cross-pollination? I didnt know you could just pollinate one bud
pollinate the target branch carefully with a brush and try not to let any pollen hit the other plants. Then heavy spray the branch with water. This will give the branch better pollination and stop the pollen from getting blown onto other branchesYou guys dont think plants in the same space will get cross-pollination? It happens but in my experience if you're careful in your process you can end up with just a few seeds instead of a whole grow space filled with seeds. You guys dont think plants in the same space will get cross-pollination? I didnt know you could just pollinate one bud
I have a preggers girl right now and not only did I get seeds on just one area of the plant, but I got seeds in the undergrowth that won't really produce bud anyways. It's low and doesn't get much airflow and so far I have these, and 1 more, that's it. Knowing 6 weeks is going to give me fully mature seeds I tried to time it where there was roughly only 6 weeks left. I did this with a 10¢ paint brush.I’m concerned about pollinating the entire crop instead of just one plant.
I was going to remove the plant and bring it backMake sure all your fans are off when doing so.

I didn't use any particular method outline, but there are some great ones on here in the breeders threads. I just did research and did it myself. I took my male flowers/pods and cut them off the plant. I left them uncovered in a cup till they were dry, they also started to open at this time. Once dry I broke up the pods into powder. I took that powder and dabbed a fine tip paint brush in it and gently dabbed the flowers I wanted pollinated and waited. That's it. I've been successful over a dozen times. Good luck. What method did you use?
Be careful not to knock the bud sites around after pollination, don't want the pollen to go airborne.I was going to remove the plant and bring it back
The problem is I usually have a fan on them and I’m worried that even if I wait a day or so once I turn on the fan that shit will go everywhereBe careful not to knock the bud sites around after pollination, don't want the pollen to go airborne.
You have a fan that blows on the plants directly, under the canopy, the lowest of the low flower sites? You literally only need 1 single calyx with a pistil to grow a seed. I also don't even wait, I turn the fan off, I brush the site on the undergrowth, and then I turn the fan on. My setup only has air blowing over the canopy and I don't have and fans blowing directly on the plants. This is why I don't have a problem, my air movement is above the canopy, and my seeded site is well under the top of the canopy. The problem is I usually have a fan on them and I’m worried that even if I wait a day or so once I turn on the fan that shit will go everywhere
These are just flipped to 12/12 and I lollipoped them so they are short and the fan is right on them. The plant I want to pollinate I had under lights so long the pistils are already formed over it like it’s in flower already. You have a fan that blows on the plants directly, under the canopy, the lowest of the low flower sites? What strain/breeder? When you say just flipped, do you mean they have just began to stretch? How big are they? Pictures of plants and setup would help. These are just flipped to 12/12 and I lollipoped them so they are short and the fan is right on them. I mean I’m gonna flip today but like I said the one already has pistils. It’s PCK Pakistani Citrali Kush landrace from The Real Seed CompanyWhat strain/breeder? When you say just flipped, do you mean they have just began to stretch? How big are they? Pictures of plants and setup would help.
