Would this work outdoors?

Preparing for my first outdoor grow here in Canada as the weather gets better. I have a couple plants that are heavily lstd. I’m just wondering if I was to take them outside would it grow into a proper large plant? I was planning on keeping them indoors but if I can take them outdoors I might aswell.

Assuming the light and weather is conducive to growing outside at this time you can. You'll have to harden the plants off to sunlight before introducing them to full sunlight.

Oh okay. So I’d say a week or two to of getting them used to the sun and by the then hopefully the weather stays consistent. Thanks.

Harden them in shade. Another concern is revegging, if the light has been 18/6 indoors they will almost certainly flip outdoors at 14/10 then reveg as days grow longer. You might not have time to flower again in Canada.

well I’m not sure if this makes sense but, near end of April the day length is approx 15 hrs and it only increases from that point. I can bring them inside during the night to continue the light schedule untill the day gets a little longer. I always thought they flowered at 12-12 this is new information to me!

I can bring them inside during the night to continue the light schedule untill the day gets a little longer. I always thought they flowered at 12-12 this is new information to me!

I can gaurantee until mid-May some will flip outdoors with less than 12 hours darkness if they’re used to an 18/6 schedule, and then reveg. You can push them through flower with light deprivation. I’ve also rode them thru reveg but you need some of October to finish.

I had some clones of a Moby Dick and Lemonchello Haze that were reaching their fill in the solo cups I placed them in for cloning. Today I placed them outside in some old fabric grow bags to harden a bit before I move them into their final garbage can to finish growing/harvest in. I had to do this 2 years ago when my first clone attempt (fruity pebbles) outgrew her little cup and she was planted in her final soil bed in mid April. I live near Hamilton in Southern Ontario and would use a plastic tub at night to cover her up and keep her warm. It worked, and she grew to 7 feet in height and width. Sadly I lost most of her harvest to mold in the end, but probably my bad for leaving the buds in a bucket for a few hours before paper bag drying. Now they sit at night in a covered veg truck and will be moved out into the open when weather permits it

The sun rules, makes indoor plants ( I've seen) look like a joke ( still love that great indoor adventure, regardless ). 3835 right on the money....if ya live right near Alert it could get sketchy. Indoors to me is entertainment, cool place to hang, relaxing.........outdoor, at least aroudhere, a tad nerve racking but fun....quantity ( like a couple dozen oz's per plant ).... I don't need the massive quanties anymore....just enough for constiuous buzz for me, my queen and tribe. Depends, if suitable environment, .......how much weed ya need.

If you keep them in direct sunlight as much as possible they will get massive. The tricky part is controlling the light cycle during flowering. If you move them inside for flower, make sure you buy as many ladybugs as you can. I did that on my last grow.

Experienced the same thing this season here in South America. Took outside indoor plants that were under 18/6 for like...15 weeks. Started flowering and then revegged. Should have used some auxiliary light.
