New to LEDs, a return to growing...

Had an extremely successful CFL grow 4 years ago (first grow ever)

looking to get back in the swing and need a lot of refreshing but I figured I’d start with the light.

using a 2x2x4 grow tent. Might get a larger one but looking to grow 4 autos

what type of LED lights are people loving these days and how many watts do you think are appropriate

not looking for a huge response Just some quick answers and recommendations...

saw the
spider farmer SF 1000
King plus 1000

not sure I need all that power but the lights aren’t very expensive so what’s TOO much light for my tent. I’ll have a carbon fan and exhaust system as well to move air.
Thanks guys and good to be back

The SF-1000 would be fine for a 2x2 tent, I have the SF-2000 in a 2x4 tent and I love it. I only use it for veg so I can't comment on flowering potential.

I also use the HLG-550 for flowering, but you could try the SF-1000 for both veg and flower, see how it goes.

Awesome thanks guys. Any other lights I could be looking at. I’m looking for one light for veg/flower as I’ll be trying out autos. Haven’t looked yet but I assume if I can swing it I want the IR light and all that as well haha.

Ohhh that pro 2000 series looks nice... I realize w the LEDs I have to have 12-18 to 28in of space between the light and plant (use to CFLs ha). So I’ll need a new tent. Probably will go with a 2x4 then and get added height as well. Any lights out there going to perform better with my autos than this sono farms (for around the same price point? 220 I believe it is

I like the ViparSpectra XS series for a nice budget light. I believe if you contact the rep here you can get a discount and/or gift card if you sign up for their program.

I wouldn't even take them for free and waste the electricity to run them. But that's me.
