This is my first indoor grow and I’m struggling no lie. I have three girls (GG4, Blue Dream, Black Jack) and I’m two weeks into flower. 64 days since buying these clones from a local shop. I have them all in 3 gallon fabric pots.

Since this is my first indoor grow I didn’t go all out buying nutrients because I didn’t know what to buy. Out of thousands of different nutrients and suggestions I was overwhelmed. I only used great white, Dyna-gro (grow and bloom) and ph down and up.
Two weeks ago at the start of flower I had noticed the center plant’s (GG4) leaves were turning lime green and the area around the veins were dark green turning the same color. I went to my local hydro store and their suggestion was cal mag. I had also purchased Orca and recharge. Now being aware of its benefits I have used Cal Mag and Orca twice.

I just bought a ph soil tester today and it says the Ph level is way to high at a 7.4. I also had noticed what I believe (from watching many YouTube videos) to be salt build up. I’m going to do a flush and try to ph the water at 5.6 in hopes it lowers the soil ph faster.

I don’t have a Ppm tester so I wouldn’t be able to say what the Ppm is. I couldn’t tell you the exact feeding seeing how I’ve recently become a new father and was working 2 jobs.

My main question is about the color of the leaves on my GG4. What do you think the cause is and what’s a possible solution? What organic nutrients can I use to get denser buds. And when I should start to flush them and how often?
I appreciate you reading my actions, thoughts and my questions. Im going to post pictures of the plants I have in the flower tent and the ones in the veg tent.

One more thing, I bought the spider farmer grow tent kit 2x2 for veg and 2x4 for flower.
I have 3 plants in flower in the 2x4 that are in 3 gallon pots,
There are 7 seedlings in the veg tent that were started 3/16. There is 4 Peanut Butter Triangle and 3 Orange runts.
Along with 1 California chrome in a three gallon ( started from seed around 64 days ago) that’s been through hell. Broken branches, nutrient burn, off Ph level. But she still her, I took maybe 10 cuttings from her to keep and putting her outside at the other location.
And to wrap it up I have 2 biscotti’s in 1 gallons I had gotten from a medical shop. One of them will go to well.

Once the Cali Chrome is taken outI have enough space in the 2x2 to transplant seedlings into 1 gallon fabric bags ( 4/6) That’s going to make 7 1 gallon pots in the 2x2. I’m in hopes they make it I will transfer them into 2 gallons for flower in the 2x4.
My question with this is would It better to fill out the 2x2 with 16 1 gallons and have 16 1 gallons in the 2x4 for flowering . Watering being I understand would be a pain unless I drop irrigation. But I feel I’m still to new to want to try a drip system but asking out of curiosity.
8 2 gallons or 16 1 gallons? Thoughts and suggestions. Once again thank you for reading this. If you made it this far your a dope individual.

I will post the 2x2 tent in a little while.
My concern is the lime green leaves on GG4 and the bud sites on all three.
Going to flush with just PhD water. Will update as grow continues.

That is a whole lot of reading which I didn’t do completely. But from what I can see, it looks pretty damn good. Not sure what you’re seeing causing alarm. Getting dense buds is a lot of times strain specific. I’m not even going to try suggest a nutrient to help with that. I think you’re on the right track.

Boy you sure have a lot growing kinda went big for the first time I'm a first time grower indoors and I have one plant with a clone i took off the same plant in veg i use tiger bloom for my flowering then I have a calcium dif so I use cal/mag to help with that i built my own cabinet 4×3 with a maxsisun pb1000 LED full spectrum I had a few problems with with lighting distance but this is my first ever grow with my grow box design and I'm in week 6 of flower my hairs on my lower buds the hairs are turning orange is that something to be worried about

I appreciate you reading even a paragraph. Thanks for the boost of confidence. I just got done attempting to flush fix the ph from 8.1 to 6.5. I was doing 5.5 ph going in. I used about 15 gallons and it didn’t go below 7.9. Have no clue how to fix this issue or if I should even fix it at all

Like the great e40 says, go hard or go home. That looks really good. What size pots do you have them in? The white hairs turning orange amber is a sign of the end. They have testers for that kind of thing. I’ve done a few outdoor grows before which is a lot less intense because it was mostly good ol Mother Nature. I harvested when 80% of the hairs turned amber. Though there’s a multitude of different suggestions for that process.

Thanks for the info Im more of a old school pot smoker 40 years and counting I have them in 5 gallon buckets in fox farm soil I admit I had a few watering problems with to much watering at first but I figured out my measurements but once I got the nutrients and watering under control it grew like a monster now I'm 3 weeks left to harvest the main flowers are getting big fast I've been watching the crystals on the leaves most people say that when they are 20% amber and 80% milky white is when I harvest they say the hairs don't much mater im new to this inside grow and it's hard to get it rite so I look for plenty advice anywhere I can get it thank you

Those look great. Don’t worry about those lower buds. Just check the trichomes on the buds towards the tops, not the leaves, and harvest when they’ve reached the maturity level you desire. Good job.

Ok thank you and hey do I leave the sugar leaves on the flowers when I harvest im prepared for it I built a nice dry cabinet with humidity controls and temp controlled fans I was very bored during this covid crap but yes thank you for the compliment I've been growing her since the end of January

FIrst of all, stop with the extreme PH adjustments. Your plants look fine and I'm pretty sure you are going to mess them up if you continue. What type of soil exactly are you using? What is the starting ph and PPMs of your water, and have you been adjusting the PH prior to all of this? Next, how exactly are you testing your soil PH? You did well with just purchasing Dyna Gro to begin with, it's a great nutrient for beginners, and you were doing well with it.

I trim as many sugar leaves as I can off when I harvest. Some dry with the leaves on, and then trim them off later, but I prefer wet trimming, then drying/curing.
