Anybody has a hack to run a portable AC out a tent

Those things will pull a shit ton of juice at 120V which most portable AC are. I'd think of something else if that's your case for long term unless you don't mind the bill.

I'm thinking use the window of the tent then use tape to seal it in ,glad I don't have to use ac

How about making a little room for your tent out of sheets of foam insulation? Use a few 2x4's and make an opening for your a/c. The basement will get warmer from the a/c running in it. Prob need to use co2 if you seal your tent like that.

Finally. A cheap plastic drop cloth or sheet makes an easy divider. And temporary. Just hang two a foot apart as an insulating barrier.

Better question. Why do you need ac for a tent in the basement? How big is this tent? Other factors of your grow could probably be adjusted to eliminate the need for it and would be more beneficial then solving an issue by introducing more power consumption and resources.

Do more with less, work with your environment not against it.

I’m not trying put the portable inside the tent because it go take up space. Anyone run it outside a tent so how
I do. I just duct taped a duct collar over the outlet of the ac and connected flex tube to it, ran the other end into the tent. Exhaust it outside. I only use it as a backup though.
