I flush with Mountain Dew for the last 2 weeks.
Then I soak the roots in a ice bath of RO water.
I also harvest with a saw. As tareing the fiber a pose to cutting it causes a higher potentcy
Finally I dry in the microwave fast to lock in all the thc. Ironically the defrost setting works the best.
If you don’t use this tried and true method you are a rookie bitch.

I flush as soon as I'm done.
If I am in a public multi receptacle, I may give a 'courtesy flush' before my business is done, so as not to offend anyone else's nostrills in the adjacent stall.

Honest reply in my opinion and practice. No flush. Stop feeding when mature plant begins eating itself. No longer uptaking nutrients at this point. Never even reached by most growers around here. Continue to water. Let the plant clean itself. What perps flushing are dreaming of replicating. "PATIENCE". You will know when to just continue water until chop. LOL.
