That grow is excellent Greenleaf cant wait to see how much it yields. I do have one question. You said you've used MG soil many on here say not to (i'm sure you know all the reasons why). I've just started my first grow (seeds 2nd day in germ) i used MG also with cfl's. ofcourse i did this before reading all about why not to use MG but a little to late for that now. So my question is , did you do anything special with the MG or am i worried for nothing. Once again excellent grow hope i have the same luck.

As far as the questions about MG.
The reason I picked MG first off was because Fox Farm wasnt available at the local home hardware... So I decided to go with the MG Potting Mix.
My plant was a clone, and was in it's 3rd week when I transferred it to a new pot (MG Soil), before that it was in some soil i'm not sure of.
The plant grew amazingly, all throughout... what I did realize was that the soil is FULL of mad nutes that need to be flushed out. So instead of watering the plant at a regular basis, I decided to flush it every week or so. When I say flush, I mean just enough water to get the plant draining.
And that method has worked wonders so far, never overwatered or under.
A few weeks back I took a clone from my plant... and placed it in MG potting mix, the next 2 weeks were of very little to no growth... after which I once fucked up and got impatient and pulled it out to check for roots, which had almost begun coming out. And now it's doin good... you can see pics on one of the previous pages.
As far as you growing from seeds man, I wouldn't recommend it in MG because seedlings are too young to handle nutes. But since it's been done and you don't wanna fuck around now... Just hope for the best... And if you've got a journal i'll make sure to watch and help where I can.
And once it's past its' seedling stage, MG'll work wonders... as long as you're watering it right.

hey man if you are talking about the little hairs those are called pistils .. trichromes are the crystals thatform on the leaves and calxys..and yes my ssh plants did that also some of thehairs started turning pretty early..
