I think the non-functional part isn't accurate. It seems Biden has been pretty busy thus far, it's just that he's not a giant attention whore, so we don't hear as much about it.
Definitely agree that adding 2T to our debt isn't a good thing and definitely not a good start to Q1. I worry that the more debt comes under the spotlight, the more we risk inflation, which devalues a lot of retirement/savings and hurts a lot of older folks. And I do understand people's Covid-economy concerns and I'm sure they would reply with something like, "you would rather the gov't did nothing?!?!?", but as with most things, the best answer lies somewhere between the extremes, like probably not giving money to those unaffected from Covid(as much as I've loved having it to pay down debt).
Awww man, did you fall for the Libertarian thing? They're just a republican cousin. They ignore a major issue, which is the freedom to quality of people/society relationship. The better people you have, the more freedom you can have, and of course the inverse. We have less freedom than yesterday because we're worse than yesterday. With how shitty we are, more freedom just means more people taking advantage of other people, which I think if you dig deep enough, you'll see that the biggest proponents of Libertarians are those in a position to take advantage of others(cough*Bezos*cough).
Sorry, can't do Ron Paul, he sucks big time, imo.
