What nutrients to switch to?

Been growing for a few harvests with the FFOF and FFHF mixed with perlite and feeding with the FF trio. While I’ve had decent results, I’m getting tired of both their soil and nutrients and thinking about making a switch for the next run.

Thinking of switching to Roots soil, but unsure of what line of nutes to feed with. I know there are several brands to choose from, but get all lost and shit with what to go with. Anyone have a solid recommendation on what to go with? If you want/need more info, ask away.

The one and 2 part dry mineral salt formulas are cost effective and yield great results-look up Jack's, Megacrop, and Maxibloom. Jack's is also very popular and there is a recent thread about it that you should be able to find easily. Good luck!

I just switched from Mega Crop to Jacks. Both are like 4 times less expensive than bottle nutrients.

I wanted to try Jacks this time but my local shop just changed ownership and rubbed me the wrong way last time I was there. I know I paid too much but I just got this instead. Had really good luck with the veg formula for years. Haven't used it yet on my current crop tho. A few more weeks.

I'm going to put a tick in the jacks column. This is my first grow using it but so far so amazing.

My only issue is for some reason nobody has it on hand around the Chicago area where I live. So I had to pay 40$ in shipping.

I've ran both FF soils/nutes and roots organics soil/nutes. And without a doubt Roots organics Greenfield's soil and the uprising dry nute line will outperform fox Farm every time. With overall better health, growth, taste, and potency. All with the same strain, clone for clone. So that's 100% positive proof in my book!

I ain't got room for that shit in my closet haha.

My fiancee would probably yell obscenities at me if I kept a huge bag of ferts in the room.

How much did you buy for the $40 shipping? It seems like you'd be better off just taking half and throwing the rest away if storage is an issue.

Black Gold Organic or Pro Mix Organic amended with some Dr Earth, water and a tea or two and that's been my base for some time now with good results
Finishing up a Black Gold with the Roots Uprising line now, if I get better results, I'll try another run or two, if now, back to DrE.
