Outdoor grow

When can I put my plants outdoor? Also I live in Bakersfield California.
When they can receive enough light to veg. Im in north Cali the Bay Area. I go outdoor mid to late may. (After the rain) youll need a safe minimum of 15-16 hrs daylight 8-9 hrs direct light rest indirect. Find a spot in your yard that gets the most light. I definitely wouldn't plant until our rain has come and gone. Mine are indoor at the moment under T8s (at this age its plenty of light and not noticable on the pg&e). And doing great.

Right now bakersfield is on a 12/12 light cycle. That means your plants are going to begin to flower in a few weeks. Youll need to add light to keep them in veg mode..a reveg is time consuming and adds unnecessary stress to your plants and quite frankly its a visually ugly process.

It should..let it do its thing. Your evening temps are 55-58' so you're fine there. You can always put a gallon size freezer bag over it to cause a greenhouse effect trapping warmth and producing a more vigorous growth. Place 4 plant prop sticks around the plant (roughly 12" long from top of soil to top of stick) and place the bag. Youll love the results.. remember you need more light..lol

unless your gonna put lights over them you should wait until the middle-to-end of May to put your plants out. thats when the days will be long enough to keep them from going into flower....best of luck

First off 10gal..depends on how big of a plant you want in the end. You'll have to time your veg, a plant will at minimum double in size during flower and you dont want root issues from being in a too small of a pot. I have never used pots outdoors i plant inground. I have hot summers in my area. 100+ degrees on a regular. Pots get too hot then roots get too hot and growth is dramatically affected. Planting in ground roots go deep enough to stay at that optimum 70's range. Holes are 5'×5' and 4' deep natural soil is dug out and replaced with fox farms ocean forest. I never ph the water (my tap water works just fine, this will vary area to area). Always 100% organic. If prepping indoor (like i am) you can see in my pics i have a fan on my babies. It simulates harsh weather conditions and in response the plants will grow a thicker and sturdier stalk which is ideal when planting outdoors for those windy days. That's my process. And ive NEVER had a bad run. Simple. Feeding.. during veg Earth Juice Grow & Alaskan Fish Fert combo.. During flower Earth Juice Bloom & Bat Guano combo
