Roots growing out bottom of 15l pot after 18 days?

Hi guys, just looking at my plant. It's 18 days old, and looking great. Just a quick question though. Should roots be popping out the bottom after 18 days? It's in a 350x300 pot, which should be around 4-5 gallons, and I figured that would be plenty for a small auto plant. I figured the roots would be tiny, and my last photo plant last year was in a 5 gallon, and wasn't spitting roots out the bottom, even at 10 weeks..

Are roots normally that deep after 2 and a half weeks?

It is normal, the roots grow to the bottom pretty quick. It's actually a great sign, your plant is happy and loving life.
There is still tons of room for root growth if that's what you're inquiring for.
Cheer mate...I was worried as I've still got like 8 weeks to go lol. I thought my soil might have been far to airy or light lol.

Good to hear. I thought it might be from my lack of watering lol. I've only put 2L through it since the original wetting so I thought it might be a consequence of digging for moisture. Kind made me realise how hardy these bastards are.

Here's a bonus. Two unknown bag seed plants I threw in the soil about 9ish weeks ago.

In my back yard, in unknown soil, no feed schedule just rain. I didn't even Know what topping was haha, and I wish I did. Just blissful ignorance back then. Threw them in and just let them grow. It's been raining for a week straight, and 90% humidity, so I'm surprised the buds aren't just balls of mould.

This foray Into indoor growing is the first time I've actually cared.

Switch to bags and watch this never happen.

Also all those tropical plants in your backyard tell me all I need to know about your wildly different climate. I have a few of those as houseplants but they would die in a month outdoors here.
