3rd week of flowering, yellow leaves

Hello guys, my girls are in the third week of flowering and the bottom leaves are turning yellow. I was wondering if it is normal or if I should supplement. I made the organic substrate myself, I don't know if it's well balanced. Thanks,

They could use a touch of nitrogen but you’re going to need to watch for calcium deficiency or magnesium deficiency next.

usually not normal and really green plants you are overdoing something usually nuts or over water before need. The only under doing could be water and bottom leaves drop and light weight pots for underwater tell you this type problem. You tell us? How often water and nut as well as how much?

This is my soil recipe:

5L coco
5L vermicompost
10L organic garden soil
2,5L perlite
4 spoons of bokashi
1 spoons of dolomite dust
2 spoons of mammon meal ("torta de mamona" in portuguese, nitrogen rich)
2 spoons of chicken manure
4 spoons of cow manure
2 spoons of bone meal

The soil is really light and I'm watering very little (20-40ml / day). I didn't use any nutrients other than what is in the soil recipe. Only normal watering with filtered tap water (ceramic / charcoal filter) with pH 7.2.

I would like to correct the problem of these plants as well but the most important thing is to correct the soil recipe for the next batches.

The detailed mix will get a new grower in trouble chasing this that and the other. Make it simple next run and that wont happen. This is a simple organic perfect mix. tweak your little nerd poop dropping and defencieces to death after perfect results with this recipe for the 1st month of plant life.

Id say use a gallon pot to mix measure
Ocean forest 3 parts
perlite 1 part
big spoon full of lime.

95 percent perfect every time. I am not going chase the occasional bad genetic seed issue to a beginner. Otherwise its your usually overwatering the plant causing the issue. good luck bro. simple is better my experience in lush green plants speaks volumes. good luck.

just noticed the comment you are watering it daily? HOlly crap. thats it. you are killing the plant. lay off it for 5-7 days. Most all plant problems are caused by overwatering new growers trying to hurry results. step back a bit or continue killing any plant weed or house plant watering too dam often.

If anyone can help me with my solo recipe, I would appreciate it. Otherwise I will continue testing, I have no problem making mistakes and learning from them

Here it is difficult to get good genetics from reliable sources. This batch is of generic seeds without origin. I'm using it to learn. My feminized seeds arrived from Europe 1 week ago and I am in no hurry, I will only plant after everything is right

I put 12x12 from the seed because I don't have time or space for the males in my 2x2x4 tent

I also don't know how to water these pots. I add 20-40mL daily because they ask (if not, they wilt). Should I add more water and wait longer? I'm afraid of over-watering. I am trying to learn. My pots are about 4 liters

Gotcha bud, you have some issues getting ocean forest. I can tell you that mix is way too hot. IF you must experiment lay off all but one manure and learn to add. YOU must veg to get anything worth results of time and effort.

IF you water and don't let them dry out as weed likes you are causing them to mold and cause problems that will never be lush green bushes. period. newbies alway say, I only water a little daily or every 2 days...stop right there. small 32 oz beginner cups for 1st couple weeks up to a month before 3 but better 5 gallon air pots for best results but at least 3 gallons.

now for the small area. for a 400 watt light plants need to be 1 foot away or they start yellow burning on top. After a day of water so they are happy watered and pliable pinch the branch at 1 foot away from the light bending it straight sideways. That way you have maybe 3 bud sights at 1 foot from light and either tie it with string or small weight to not allow it to spring back up. experience here....

Thank you bro. I made these cuts to test my clone machine, it wasn't really to increase budsites (not the first intention). I am testing LST, mainfold, in different plants, to know which technique I adapt best. Everything is more difficult when we try to do it in practice

Your guess is excess nitrogen? I will try to prepare a solo with less next time. I will also exchange perlite for carbonized rice husks, which are environmentally friendly

With these plants, is there anything I can do to save?

can i correct the pH of the water before watering, does it work with soil?

How long have they been in those pots?Next mix let the soil cook for 30+ days.Your pots are too small very hard to keep moisture consistent.Look into sips next round,sit your pot on a bed of perlite that has water.

Too much EWC, when it drys it goes hard.Use less and save it for top dressings.

You can use vinegar to drop ph to around 6

they will be root bound for sure, Pull one out of its pot after a little tap and have a look!

Main Things! More space to grow will allow for better nutrient and water management automatically, temp is fine just air flow is important! As i said, pull one out of its pot and look at what you have! Just have a larger one ready for it when you do!! Don't cut back until you have got her feeling a little better

Ph above 7.0 may be causing the K deficiency. Do you not have a Ph meter? I also agree with needing to transplant into a bigger container. Very likely root bound.
