Dirt poor clone tips cut my 3ft plant in half

Thats what I'm wanting to get is some clonex but like I said I'm fine with just water for my first few clones and I'll probably just start toppin off the cup that way I don't accidentally put the clone into shock and that should keep water from being stagnant right?

not daily tbh - about every 3rd day. Some run same water just top off as needed. I don’t “ need “ the clonex but have it on hand .

Ah I see, just asking, i tried this method only once and failed but doesn’t mean it can’t be done, was just doing the tek wrong

I've never had good luck in aerocloner type setups, but root riot cubes in zip lock bags works great for me every time. I love this banana idea! I find it's really about temperature, lighting, and especially moisture in the cube-like, if you start with it pretty moist, then let it dry over the next 4 days or so, then just moisten it up a little if it's too dry-that cycle of getting a little dry really creates furious rooting.

we used to clone on a windowsil in beer bottles all the time. I never did it with something I really needed or cared about, but it worked surprisingly well-just use plain tap water and change it once per day.

That aloe vera is going to dry up pronto too. Just stick them in tap water. No tricks or overnight waiting crap. Fill a glass and stick them in it. Change water every two days. In a couple of weeks you’ll be thrilled.

You must change the water. Leave on a counter or some place receiving weak light. A CFL high is okay. High. You’re trying to develop roots and not shoots.

the cfl, or the OP, are ok being high? Lol

Banana already made mold on top surface of dirt so I threw 2 out of 3 away, stuck one in the dirt just to see what would happen.

I'd dilute it in h2o , generally you'd dilute it in water , take the cutting and soak the cutting in the water for a bit. I'm not sure how it's going to fare if it's already cut and in soil. I never had luck cloning in soil and have only done it in water

i’ve got a couple clones in soil and a couple in water, they’ve been in water for about 3 days, the ones in water should still be alright to honey up a lil bit right? they’re only in about 8oz of water also gonna take more clones since i need to chop a little more off before i bloom due to space

Also if i’m going to put honey on it how long do i leave it in water then drop it in soil?

An hr or so. Yeah you can add a little , change the water every day or other day too
