I agree with this . Pluss proper extraction should be completely changing the air in the room evry couple of minutes as well as bringing in fresh cO for the plants. If the extraction system isnt doing this then either something is wrong or it insufficient. The orther fans are only really for irculating air around the plants but certainly wont help with fresh air/cO, heating/cooling and humidity.Yeah I know that but for arguments sake I had to include justifications to the wife about spending even more cash... so met in the middle... something the wife can use when I'm not growing..
As its in the en suite theres no windows so I manage to circulate the air by leaving the door open to the bedroom and the window with a fan blowing through... the extraction fan is constantly on taking out all the old air... also the dehumidifier is also an air purifier so managing to stay on top for the past few days... RH has never gone above 44 unless I turn it off to tend to the ladies.. max or has been is 56 for about half hour per day... not alot of space in the toilet lol... the last pic is 2 of 6 candles that burn all day every day and even our guests have no clue lol.... the glass jars once boiled will do for curing so win win lol thanks for the input bud always appreciatedI agree with this . I see you have your extraction reversed so it pulls from the tent then blows through the filter. I guess you have to do what you have to do to keep it discrete and make it work. The plants seem to be doing well tho so thats what counts. As its in the en suite theres no windows so I manage to circulate the air by leaving the door open to the bedroom and the window with a fan blowing through... the extraction fan is constantly on taking out all the old air... also the dehumidifier is also an air purifier so managing to stay on top for the past few days... The filter should really be inside the tent up high and the fan sucking the air into the filter. Then blowing out of the fan.I dunno what I have done wrong but without all this the RH goes through the roof into 77s 80s so I stripped back everything from the tent to help improve things... I'm guessing it's the shit tent from ebay lol... but it's working ATM so fingers crossed it continues
Also are you running that bathroom extractor fan constantly too?I dunno what I have done wrong but without all this the RH goes through the roof into 77s 80s so I stripped back everything from the tent to help improve things... Yeah the bathroom fan is always on... when I put the carbon filter inside the tent the RH goes through the roof...Also are you running that bathroom extractor fan constantly too?
In theory yes but most filters are designed to be used by sucking through them rather than blow into them.Yeah the bathroom fan is always on... when I put the carbon filter inside the tent the RH goes through the roof...
Wont it work in the same way?? Its still functioning the same just in reverse??
It wont be a bother to put it back.. I'll keep an eye on RH and if it gets too high I'll take it back out.. what did you think of my lollipop attempt lol... not shitting you I was a bloody nervous wreck the further up I went.. i was so tempted to go a little higher but couldn't bring myself to do it....In theory yes but most filters are designed to be used by sucking through them rather than blow into them.
the White sock over the filter (pre filter) is a dust cover to protect the carbon from getting overly dusty.
You did a good job.It wont be a bother to put it back.. Next time is a different story as thanks to you and everyone else ibe gained a plethora of info and advice and knowledge!!
Thanks bud... do you think I'll need to support them at some point?? If so what would you suggest?? I do have a scrog bit they are all different heights so dont think that'll work??You did a good job.
always best to air on the side of caution.
The idea of a Scrog is that you lay it level over the top of them and move new growth shoots along to another square trying to put one growth site in each square. Thanks bud... do you think I'll need to support them at some point??
