AC Infinity Fan Exhaust

I was looking at the 4” Cloudline T series. Yeah I like to keep them outside of the tent as well, when possible. Cool, thanks for the heads up. My fan that I have now sounds like a jet propeller on low. I like the cooling aspect that AC offers, if it works properly, the decrease in temp would help with smell too. Damn good to know. Lol. I was just shocked at the price of the combo, for the stated efficiency. I’ll run it and let you know how it goes.
Check out S&P TD-Silent fans or the Iso-Max fans, they're the quietest inline fans I've tried. I've read the cloudlines aren't as silent. Also, get a bigger inline fan and run it on lower speed. There's no reason to get a tiny fan and run it on maximum, it'll be way louder than a big fan running on the lowest settings.

Sounds like you might not have enough negative pressure, smell can leak from the tent if you arent pulling with enough pressure. You want to make sure that all the air that leaves your tent is going through the filter and not the fabric of the tent.

Assuming the T4 is appropriate for your tent size (sorry I dont see it mentioned here) you should have one port open for intake and one for the extractor to vent out. when the fan is running with enough power you should see the sides of the tent suck in slightly, if not increase the speed of the fan if poss or perhaps reduce the size of the intake opening, again if possible.

I use an infinity 8". No filter.

Got my exhaust set like this now.

Also built a frame to insert a 14,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner into the fire place.

I'm also running my 8" exhaust out through the same panel.

Not my pics.

Exhaust straight up the chimney. No circulating heat. Ambient temps stay 68 to 70 year round.
Canopy temps fluctuate 66 to 85 depending on lights on or off and if doors are open or not.

I had my 8"AC infinity hooked to a 6" duct, and I lost sooooo much power. Plus it was twice as loud.
I upgraded to 8" duct work, plus a 8" carbon filter, and this thing MOVES air

I can see where upgrading the duct would increase effency and quiet more noise.
That upgrade is next.

Upgrading the fan and A/C was a win. Budget has been lean lately.:?

This grow I upgraded to the AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S4 (the one without the bells and whistles). I coupled it with insulated ducting, with the intent of reducing the noise even more. It worked great, but now my attention is being drawn the interior clip-on fan noise which I am now able to hear. At least it's not keeping me awake at night like that old exhaust fan did.
