Sup guys.. so I finished building my stealth grow cabinet and it looks pretty good.. only problem I have like always is keeping temps down.. I have an exhaust fan that’s more than enough for my little grow space, oscillation fans and air vents for passive air to come through. First I figured it was because my intake hole wasn’t bigger than outtake hole so I made it twice as big like it should’ve been. temps still reaching 85+.. I feel like I’m doing everything right but still no results. It has to be another way without using an air conditioner ‍♂. Only thing I think could be causing this is too much light ‍♂ Any suggestions would be love .... oh I have 2 450w LED lights inside a 2.5 x1.5x3 ft area ... 2 4 inch ventilation holes along with the one in the middle.

3.5 sq ft of canopy will need approximately 150 watts of older 'blurple' leds or 100 watts of top-tier diodes.
Can you link the description of the fixtures you're using?
I suspect that you are using too much power and that's what is creating your temp issues.

Get a panel with remote ballast. Lose the blurple ASAP. Should be sold as grow lights and radiant heaters. Although passive. Nothing stealth with them.

Thanks.. think I needed to hear this. Haven’t grown in a bit and figured I could get away with those blocks knowing panels where the new thing now.

I wonder how many watts the lights are actually pulling from the wall??? Surely not 950w???

I myself would try and get 40.3w sq/ft with the best Samsung/Osram Diodes.
My Gavita 1700e is 645w and is made for a direct replacement for a 1000w SE HID in a 4 x 4 area, and that comes out to 40.3w sq/ft.
I shoot for 150w of the best Diodes.
HLG? 260w model, and use the dimmer?? Or a light with a remote ballast.
