Why so many autoflower growers?

Seed sellers LOVE autos because of repeat sales. Most indoor growers eventually learn a thing or two and decide to pheno hunt a prize female, and once they do, their seed purchases plummet. The industry markets autos to new growers to lock them into a cycle of seed purchases. Some sellers even create a fake sense of scarcity by selling them at certain times in "drops." It's just another dubious tactic to make people part with their money. There is no good reason for someone to grow an auto over a photo unless modern cannabis is too potent for them-I don't mean for this to sound insulting, but it's a fact of auto genetics, you breed the auto gene into a photoperiod strain by crossing it with Siberian ditch weed. Anyone growing autos now, don't sweat it, any grow is good experience, but do yourself a huge favor and buy some photo seeds from a TOP breeder, you won't regret it! AND...AND...save the best female!!

I agree with everything your saying except auto’s are no longer weaker than photoperiod’s! There are auto’s testing in the mid 30’s. & when you said there is no reason to grow auto’s. What about getting an extra crop in between your photoperiod crops?

I have very serious doubts that any plant is truthfully testing out of the 20s. I mean seriously 1/3 of the weight of the bud is thc? It's so easy to sway a test one way or another .....

I thought about doing a SoG with maybe autos, but why not a good photo clone? I got legal limits anyway, so I might as well grow big in veg. But I don't understand the advantage of autos.

Sometimes two crops if you're running sour crack from mephisto genetics!!!

Auto’s are very resilient to pest and disease due to the fact that they are from the Arctic regions which makes them super hardy. Also, they are super vigorous and fast growing and not as fragile as everyone seems to think they are. You just I have to grow one to see. I believe that they will now and forever have a place in our future endeavors in this industry. I will forever grow both because they both have their pros and cons.

If you didn't clone photo, and always went from seed would autos yield more than photos? I grow both but only because i like seeing different variety plants and don't worry too much about maximizing anything, i just like growing the coolest plant on earth.
