There’s plenty of reason to be upset about the public schools, at least in my home town. None of which include the fact that the “public” has to fund the schools. And I mean it’s a small portion of my tax bill, so seems like a non issue.

If you want to be upset, I’d suggest looking at the actual curriculum.

their is no right answer or easy way but if anything we need more money for education.

And I think school in my area was closed for about 2 months.. we ended last year on virtual and this year has been in person / virtual. Mainly due to contact tracing and positive COVID cases.
I hear of cities being virtual only but would love to know where there is absolutely no school. I just don’t buy it.

"Upset"?

I'm not a pussy. I just enjoy spending my OWN money.

Schools are buildings that sit upon land. You really just don't get it.

Keep giving away your hard earned money for nothing
First, I thought schools were for stinky liberal hippies? Why do you want your child to be a stinky liberal hippie??

Second, are you being consistent? Because your tax dollars are used for all sorts of things that you don't use.

Third, is this what republican woke looks like? Yeesh, now I see why you dislike it so much.

Fourth, you still haven't answered the question and seem to be focusing on buildings and land, so I guess that means your kid is still being educated by teachers, albeit virtually, which you seem to think that teachers work for free? What percentage of your tax dollars are used for education in your area and how much of a discount do you think is fair?

Ribs by Mad Sonoran Joe

Its sunny outside and to I'll pretend it's summer. Time to fix my go-to ribs.

Basic Barbecue Rub

3/4 C Dark brown sugar
1/4 C Mild New Mexico red chile powder (Allepo chili powder is good too)
1/4 C Mild paprika
2-1/2 TBL Kosher salt
2-1/2 TBL Fresh-ground black pepper
1 TBL Granulated onion
1/2 TBL Granulated garlic
1/2 TSP Cayenne pepper

Missouri Basting Sauce
This sauce will make ribs, brisket and pork shoulder, tender and delicious.
It will keep fresh in the refrigerator for 2 months.
1-3/4 C White vinegar

2 TBL Tabasco® Habanero sauce
1 TSP Kosher salt
1 TSP Fresh-ground black pepper
1 TBL Dark Brown sugar
1 TSP Sugar
1. Mix in a glass bowl and cover.
2. Baste ribs while slow smoking.

Cook low and slow until ribs are falling apart tender. Mop with basting sauce and finish by spreading with sauce, turn up heat and to cook until the sauce begins to caramelize. Serve with extra sauce.
