Root rot in Coco Coir. Root Aphids?

So I still got root rot. I was watering everyday until this started. They don't seem to drink enough to water them everyday. When I do I get root
rot. Here are some pictures:

When I was looking at the roots today I saw some root aphids crawling around living their lifes. I don't know what started first. The root rot or the aphids. Any Tipps? I wanted to repot into 50/50 Perlite Coco. I am currently in around 80/20 Coco Perlite.
I use hydroguard but i still get this shit. I had slimy roots in NFT so I switched to coco without any improvement. I still get brown stinky roots.

can you show us a picture of the plant that those roots are attached to? Are you sure it's root rot and not just staining? Just curious, never heard of root rot in coco before, esp with hydroguard.

I'd add an enzyme product to the mix. Maybe switch to a more full spectrum beneficial like Great White.

I'd try running some h2o2 or Physan 20 thru the coco, cut back on watering and maybe increase perlite. Bayer makes a good product for the root aphids, but I can't remember it's name. Hopefully somebody can chime in with that bit of info.

Depends on the nutes. Gh flora micro stains roots but I've never seen them get stained that dark, in the dark spots. Maybe organic nutes?

I am using GHE flora series and hydroguard. Its not nute stain because not every plant has it (yet). I always read about how its imposible to get rot in coco but i seem to prove that wrong.

Where do you keep your ph at? Could be too acidic making roots more susceptible to root rot?

PH is 5.8 spot on all the time

I may be off but it looks to me like it was sitting in runoff? Are you pots elevated with proper drainage? Are you feeding to decent runoff?

It would explain root rot in coco.

They are sitting on a grow table there is no chance of that happening. I also did not burn them with too much nutes.

I had the same problem in 2 litre pot , I transplanted them in 20 litre coco and they look much better now.

For Root aphids use bioadvanced fruit, citrus, and vegetable formerly known as bayer fruit, citrus, and vegetable. Works great against root aphids just remember it is a sytemic.
