HLG 650R remove driver - remote mount how?

Hey hey,

I'm pretty new to LED, have always mounted my ballasts outside grow area with HID.

Want to remove the drivers on 650R to mount outside grow area but can't figure out how and can't find a how to.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me basic instructions and tell me what crap I need to buy for it?

I imagine the reason you're not finding any tutorial on such matters, is that it likely hasn't been done.
That is not to say it isn't possible, because of course it is, but in my opinion, highly ill advised. I can't imagine something like that wouldn't void your warranty.
The only thing I would even recommend, is contacting HLG directly, difficult to believe they would support such an endeavor.

Yeah you're right, I've already contacted them and they advised against it and said it would void warranty.

Need more LEDs on market with detachable drivers...

Really? There has to be something. Maybe this. I thought I remember hearing that HLG said it was fine.

I don't know if that ChilLed one will work or not, but this link should get you another 5% off it they do. I don't have the 650. Just a bunch of other ones.
