Thinking about rdwc?

I have thought about this because I can see the roots from the bucket to the right coming through the 3" with the current. It is 3" to 3/4" at the end and there are the 2 99° bents and 2 small straight pieces so right now I thing they are about half way to the 3/4" line. Any suggestions on what to do if they get there?? Because I'm sure they will if they grow anything like the 5 gallon bubblers I've used in the past that look like this. The clones in the system are this big with roots like this right now.View attachment 4828455View attachment 4828457View attachment 4828458View attachment 4828459
I dunno man. You could make the pvc run longer and the tubing shorter.

I have the system from PA hydroponics that you posted and I love it. I got the DIY 4 buckets 8 gallon one with no holes drilled and no pvc pipe. I also built it in a straight line with no water falls. The pump is pulling from the last bucket in the line and water falling into the reservoir, each bucket including the reservoir have an airstone. I use advanced nutrients and it does a very good job of keeping the ph balanced. I skimmed through the rest of the trend but did not read in detail. If you have anything specific that you want to know 8m happy to help.
You dont use a chiller?

Stay away from anything that uses those stab barbs for feed water. They just leak and plug.
I was thinking to just use the idea of the water pump evacuating the buckets for a time for straight oxygen to the roots. Plus the way its hooked up, it aerates the water while evacuating water from grow buckets. Id mod it to work with my system.

My wife won't let me buy the big rdwc tell I have one dwc grow done. I'm in week 4 of veg as of now. I like not having to guess what's in the water vs soil and never really knowing

I know what you mean. I start with 5 ppm RO water so I know exactly what nutes are making up my total ppm at the end of mixing.

Hardest part imo is getting started, learning how the system operates, how it doesn't operate.
This type of system is also a pretty good $$ investment between the pumps, and other equipment.

There are different variations to RDWC
Waterfall system
Airstone undercurrent
Everyone does their system alittle different.
Here is mine

Where did you get the buckets that house the plants inside the tent?
