Hey guys,
First time grower/ poster here.
Bit of backstory on the grow. Seed is from weed that I was smoking (YES I KNOW THIS ISNT RECOMMENDED HOWEVER I WAS WAITING FOR MY SEEDS TO ARRIVE AND USED THIS AS A TEST DUMMY). Germinated and was put into 2.5 gallon pot filled with pre-activated Bio Bizz All Mix on 26/01. Placed under 2 x 6400k and 1 x 2700k LED bulbs 20cm from the plant which I was only planning to use up until the 2 week mark and change over to a 1000W (125 true watts) led grow light, however as I started 3 more seedlings (all VERY HEALTHY up to current date) on 05/02 I am going to wait for them to reach the 2 week mark first. Regardless, the plant was seemingly loving life and growing very fast. Watered when pot was light with un PH'ed de-choloronated tap water up until around 10 days ago which is when I started mixing with 2ml per L of Bio Bizz AlgaMic and PHing with vinegar to 6.0-6.5 (no nutes of any kind so far). Tent is kept at around 74F & ≤60% with 40W industrial fan as intake and 15W clip fan for air circulation. 24/0 light schedule so far, however I am planning to switch to 18/6 with change of lights.
Into the issue at hand. About a week ago I started noticing brown spots appearing on the first set of true leaves and slight brown/ rusty discoloration on the second set of true leaves. Fast forward to present, first set of true leaves have turned yellow/ brown and died off (I have removed them just in case the issue is fungal and these were the worst affected), second set of true leaves have turned brown/ crispy and brown spots are now appearing on the newer growth. I have been researching online and I have indentified the following as possible causes:
- Leaf septoria or some sort of fungus
- Nute lockout due to PH change
- Calcium or Magnesium defficiency
Please try and save my first baby before it is too late!
