Joining 2 tents together (not just ducting)

Hi all,

I have a 1.5 x1.5 tent and want to extend it with my 1 x 1.5 connecting them door to door.

My issue is there is an attic beam in the way and they are about 1.5 feet apart.

I tried adding sticky velcro to both tents but it just doesn't stick, so not sure how to seal the 2 tents together. Any ideas?

For the expected why?... to increase my grow space whilst using one heater and one water tank/ heater etc

Seen on tv handheld sewing machine. Sow and make flap that opens to both.

Or buy a new tent, you will have your veg and clone tents already.

If you are going to connect them I would try and cut flaps on each wall of the joining side so one flap is in front and one in back. Join them like that, but some blanks will have to be filled if they are spaced apart. No way to get them pole to pole with frames?

here is what I mean with the cuts to join
Totally upside down.. but same logic

That gives you space 1 & 2 + whatever space you can close up and salvage in the middle. You will have mylar on the front and back walls doing it like that. Less material for you to fixer up.

This is what I ended up with....

Don't look at the plants... they suffered from hunger when I repotted them.

My main concern is lack of air quality control as there isn't a way of making it air tight and controlling the incoming air... filtering it. Im concerned about bud rot... and currently have some pm issues... maybe partially due to the hunger but even the healthy ones seem to be getting it.

Have any "Flex tape? That can be used as a seal around the panels, but you will need a lot.
