Hi guys

white rhino
4 weeks
Coco perlite
led

Plagron coco nutes
A+B+root+zym

First 2 weeks in 3l fabric pots
Got perfect ph and ppm runoff

1 week in 40l fabric pots
Got good ph but low ppm

Been giving same nutes all the way, 75% of week 1, about 550ppm, wanted to see how low i could go. Afraid to burn etc. Got like 400-450 out. Was kinda waiting for the leaves to loose a little color. So now they did, a little.

Went up to 100%of week 1. Got 400 yesterday, 320 today.....

Should I try to bring the ppm up gradually and carefully or could i just bump it up a big notch and speed this up a bit?

I feel i got this under control. They are getting a bit light green but look super happy.

I just want to ask what you think is the best procedure for bringing my ppm, up to100-200 over ppm in, up and get the fastest and fattest growth.

One love

Thx guys

Got like 850 first today then 500 then 350....after feeding 750...

I dont get it
Idk the exact reason behind it but its not unusual to get a low ec run off to begin with.

I've read something about cation exchange causing it but idk anything more than that.
Don't be tempted to raise the ec, just keep feeding to run as you would.

Yes it's unusual to get a lower runoff reading than what you are feeding, if you are feeding properly. Once saturated and runoff occurs it should be the same as your input EC/ppm or slightly higher. Most definitely should not test at 850 ppm and them down to 350 ppm with the same runoff. That's an equipment issue.

Everyone that asks about lower ec coming out has a dodgy truncheon including myself? Idk the reason for it but I can tell through experience it happens, that's a fact.

There's 1000s of questions asking about lower ec coming out than being fed in if you Google it or use the search facility above.

Hi guys. I dont think its a faulty ppm meter. I get different readings because i have a small container to catch ny runnoff. So i get many readings because I measure between emptying the container. All girls get fed simultaneously with halos. 40l fabric pots. 70/30 coco perlite. Plagron nutes and medium.

Ok so the 850 readings is the only one higher than the input. Upped feeding from 550 to about 720-750 since thursday.

Still getting 350 out

My meter is super consistent, i measure every in and out.

When in 3l fabrics the ppm out was as expected.

Maybe the need a good soaking by hand to get the whole 40l up to the desired ppm?

Maybe the halos is making tunnels that make the ppm out...lower....naaah....

Ppfffffttttt

Anyhows...girls looking gooood

I went through 2 weeks of it in late December/January, I'd seen it before so I wasn't to concerned about it, as long as the plants look happy.
It's corrected itself again without incident.

I've only seen it with plants in new coco, I picture something in the coco grabbing/absorbing mineral/s that are more conductive, once they've filled you get regular ec, of course that's just my theory/guess lol
