Hey Ya'll!
Thanks everyone for all the dope advice so far - i have returned for more! So, GG#4 auto - chopped the girl 1.5 days ago. Cut her into large sections and hung on hangers in 4x2 grow tent - have humid and temp sensor at 70 deg F and 50% humidity - I put as much stem on each piece hanging as possible to try for an extra long dry time - im in no rush - left all leaves on the first day and then last night - at about the end of the first day of drying - i open tent and smells of wet hay - I have a small fan at the bottom to circulate air and a humdifier shooting cool mist into air to keep RH at 50%.
Once I smelled the hay smell i immediately opened up the tent to air it out and began trimming any fan leaves and/or larger sugar leaves to prehaps air it out more - also - i left full stems on all the girls hanging - wtf am I doing wrong here? why the smell on GG4? Its only days 2!!
1 week prior to chop - i RO watered only and added the GH flush agent. I chopped her while she was still in water - oh also - I grew DWC - HELP!! any advice greatly appreciated.
Below are pics of them hanging - ive never done this before - did i leave too much stem? Should I cut them into smaller, more aerated pieces? Are the buds too large and I need to dry another way? Its a super sticky GG4 so im not sure- please help! she smelled amazing and now like wet hay!!
** I have removed the dwc bucket from the tent since taking pics**
** the fan is a small 6 inch electric fan hanging about 5 inches from floor - not directly on plants**
