All my bud ended up looking great and good smell but taste kinda harsh and not like it smells with black ash as well.I dumped about a 5 gallon bucket of clean water into a 7 gallon fabric pot only had a chance to let them sit about 5 days after the flush because spider mites were attacking. Why dose the bud tast harsh I did use some 209 spidermite solution once about 5 days before the flush and a little neem oil pretty close to harvest

No wash and the spray I used in my water is mostly rosemary
Bugs taste like shit.

Literally. Don't forget bugs shit in your plant.

Add Neem oil to that mix and oooof.....

Here's a look at how nasty that can be.

These are outdoor plants so your wash wouldn't look that bad. But you would have tons of shit taken out of your buds helping the taste and smoothness.

Flushing your plants won't do what you think it will do.

I can see this being a good idea for outdoor, but other than that why do u want to wash away terpines and aroma , unless your indoor taste like your outdoor I have no clue but it's not anything I would ever do

Its not the neem. Ive used it throughtout a cycle before. My bet is its a simple case of improper drying/curing. Thats always what id look at first before seeking answers elsewhere. Just my two cents. Peace.
My dry and cure is on point I’ve battled that already probably a combination of bull shit I’m guessing but thanks on the been oil info I have used it in the past with no bad taste as well

If you used any amount of neem that close to harvest, I guarantee that's why it tasted bad. I love neem, I use it at least every two weeks up until buds form, but the smell is disgusting. One thing you can do that helps is to rinse off your buds, if you're careful it doesn't hurt anything. Set up two containers of water, one you add one cup of h202 per 5 gal (I think that's right, I have it written down somewhere, double check that though lol) and the other is just plain water. Gently dip your freshly cut buds in the h2o2 first and leave them in for a min or so...if you have some kind of issue, like PM, leave them for a few more minutes, then carefully dip them in the plain water to rinse them off. Hang to dry with plenty of air circulation until the water evaporates. You won't "wash off the terpenes." Terpenes aren't little thingy's that are sitting on your plant like dust that can be "washed off." If I had used neem close to harvest, I would probably add a third bath with some baking soda added to it, which might help get rid of that off flavor. You'll be amazed how much filth comes off of these buds in the bathwater.

Appreciate it I’ll try next crop on a few branches first. Do you do this all the time or just if you think you might be a little more dirty than normal
