It's very hard to find info on TMZ. I would guess the PH is off, its got bugs, or it is the genetics, before thinking it is TMZ. Is the rest of the plant healthy and it is only in afew spots?Tobacco mosaic virus ? It would appear this way . Hoping I’m wrong . But would like a second opinion ?
The plant has definitely been problems since day 1. Tmv was the only thing I could find that showed the same symptoms . I was also dealing with light burn issues. I doubt that’s it in this case . Would be everywhere .It's very hard to find info on TMZ. I would guess the PH is off, its got bugs, or it is the genetics, before thinking it is TMZ. If it were a virus I would point toward hop latent viroid
My bad . I should know better lol should have listed stuff . Ffos , ff trio . Cal mag . Myco plus .Lots of other issues I would guess before TMZ which is not common. Don't know what your medium is or ph or if you are feeding any nutes etc, but I'd check water/feed ph and my first guess without better photos and info would be potassium deficiency.
Also , I did go slightly heavy on the nitrogen . So for the last couple waterings they’ve been only getting straight water ph to 6.4 . They were on the verge of nitrogen toxicity. Got real dark. But didn’t claw .Lots of other issues I would guess before TMZ which is not common. Was just looking at what you mentioned . Looks exactly like this too . Thanks for the inputIt's very hard to find info on TMZ. I would guess the PH is off, its got bugs, or it is the genetics, before thinking it is TMZ. Is the rest of the plant healthy and it is only in afew spots?

Okay , I’ll totall check for mites . I keep my tent pretty clean and the room it’s in . I haven’t seen any bugs or signs of bugs . I will surely look . Dealt with thripes on my first outdoor run last season. In the even I see zero signs of bugs . What is it than ?OK here we go.
TMV is NOT a Cannabis virus!
Neither is Sun-Hemp virus! This is a BEAN virus that effects only legume strains!
After a group of growers (I belonga this group) sent literally hundreds of plant samples to Ag labs at MSU. NEVER was it EVER found to be a TMV virus.
After long personal talks with grad students and Prof's . We figured that TMV in cannabis is a myth. A now working for me grad student even attempted to infect cannabis with TMV. It would not take.
IF you were to get a virus. It would have to be a hemp/hops related one! There are NOT many of those, and as an organic farmer of Hops (among other things). I have yet to see a viral issue.... It's just not very prevalent.
Now then. It looks to me like you may have a BROAD mite issue! The ONLY way to get rid of those?
FORBID 4F - 1.2 ml per gallon of water max. You LIGHTLY mist the tops of the leaves and do it again 6 days later. Boom done.
They can cause a version of "variegation" that mimic's what you have perfectly. They do not spread fast but, get rid of them!
You may see some continue - how ever slowly.
Still, treat those too.
I've gotten rid of mine and have never had an issue again - in years and years.
Now Russet mites can give you that shrivilly like new growth look too. BUT, no variegation look.
These fuckers are a bitch the get rid of.
You must alternate the use of FORBID and AVID for 2 treatments each - one every 5 days.
Letting Russet mites go to long can, and will, do DNA damage to the strains infected with them.
Some folks simply toss the plants and sanitize their grow.
Be sure to sanitize your grow after treating your plants too!
Happy trails!

I have a digital microscope . I’ll inspect . Further , this plant is next to all my others and there have been signs of this problem for the better parts of two weeks now . Nothing on the others . At all in terms of similar symptoms. I’ll look nowYou can NOT "see" Broad mites!
They are the diameter of a white fly LEG.
They dig into the leaf midrib and vein's. This causes the coloring and the leaf to "bend" in that direction.
The biggest strongest plants are usually malesWould it be a bad idea to send it into flower ? I’m supposed to make the switch in a week or two ? It’s the biggest plant in the garden . Fastest growing too. Kinda bummed I might be taking a hit . She was fun to work with problems included .
