Ready to flower? (pics)

I've had this plant growing since Apr 20th, but it only really started vegging May 10. Leaves are 7 fingered up top, and preflowering sites have appeared all over. The original preflowers from a week and a half ago have turned dark brown, but no buds have appeared yet. Is it time to change to 12/12?

PS: I heard something about the nodes height alternating means that it's ready to flower. What does that mean?

the nodes mean its time to flower not harvest.harvest is when its done flowering and you take down the buds

It looks like its ready. What size pot is that? Looks a bit small, maybe you should transplant into a bigger home, so that you dont get rootbound during flowering.

Ye man give it the 12/12. Is there more room in that grow box? When it flowers it will prob double in size. Peace

Your plant looks very healthy man, good work. Is that room all the space you have though?

That plant is already very busy and touching your walls. It will just want to get so much fatter when you flower it man, and I don't see the space for that to be honest.

Can you get it in a bigger space man? If not, maybe you should clone the fuck out of it (as you say it's showing pre-flowers), therfore reduing the plants size a bit. Let it recover for another week, then bang it on 12/12 for flowering. Just a thought though.

Thanks for the tips. I didn't know a plant grew very much during flowering. I could get space, but doing so would take a huge amount of time (making a new box, wiring, moving, etc...). I like your clone idea alot - got any more info on that?

It's a 16L flower pot IIRC, I thought it would last me the grow, but it looks like it may not. Is there some way to check to see if its rootbound without disturbing it?

Fixed.

Thanks to everyone so far for the help!

Yeah man, it will want to at least double in size during flower. Could you put it outside at all? That plant would become a beast in the sunshine!

Check out these articles man.....https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=category&id=63

Good luck.

You can check if its rootbound, by looking to see if there are any roots coming out of the drain holes in the bottom.

GOodluck mate : )
