Ive run a few different plants under the solacure. I start out with 30 minutes for a couple of days mid light cycle. Then I'll double it to an hour. The indica's I've run so far haven't wanted more than a couple hours a day. Ive got a Panama Gold/Columbian Red x tknl5haze going right now, it might get 4 or 5 hours a day of the solacure. They are a little over 3 weeks into flower, and getting 3 hours at mid day.
I was told to increase the time on, until the plants tell you its too much, then back off a little. Equatorial strains should want more uv, but just pay attention to the plant.
One thing ive noticed, is the uv will burn the shit out of any part of a leaf with moisture on it. I run all led's, and even if I spilled water all over a plant, and beads sat on leaves, the leds wouldn't cause burns. So I never paid much attention to splashing water onto leaves. When I first got the solacure, I learned day 1 that I had to be much more careful.
I wouldn't expect the 30% thc boost as the company claims, but all my buds under it have been super frosty. There has only been 1 strain that I ran pre Uv, and post uv. It was definitely much frostier the second time, but it was only my second grow, so part of the increase could be better practices.
The way I look at it, uv is part of the light spectrum led's are missing. I don't think it is a miracle light, but I definitely think its an important part of the spectrum, and your plants should benefit from it
