Is this going to be a problem?

When I transplanted these clones I put the root tail through one netpot hole. Will this eventually strangle the roots?

I asked because I had a clone that was turning yellow and loosing the bottom fan leaves 2 at a time. It ended up being calmag deficiency. I use RO water. So I fixed the problem in that one.
Now I have another set of 4 that are starting to look the same way.

plant before calmag

Ph 5.5 .your vegging still 400 ppm should be good with some cal mag. I top up with ro water every day then top up with nute water every 3rd days then rez change weekly .flower with 600 -800 ppm only with a really big plant you'll need more

Thank you for the reply! I do have both meters. I use advanced nutrients so it balances the pH automatically but I still check it and it always stays from 5.5 to 6.5. I'm also using the recommended dosage from them, which is either seedling/clone, small plant or mature plant.
I'm going with the small plant strength right now. Could this be from having too much calmag?

Do you add in more ro water or add in nute water for top up ? My tip above served me well
It was time for a water change so I did that and only gave then half strength instead of full and no calmag. When everything is going good and they are drinking water I usually just top off with to water during the week and do a full change every weekend. This seem to work for me normally with no problems. I m very stumped as to what is going on with these.
20 gallon RDWC
RO water starting ppm 5
Water temp 65
Half strength advanced nutrients
Micro, grow, bloom 150ml each
Hydroguard 40ml
No calmag
PH 5.65
PPM 550
EC 1.1
2 Mars hydro ts1000 @ 60% power 28" away
Pic from top and side of each for comparison in a couple days.
(They are getting worse let’s hope this helps, finger crossed)
