So being a newb, getting the timing right on my flush (when I eventually get there) was a bit of a worry for me.
but after some thread reading, I’ve seen a fair few new bits to say there is no need as the impact on flavour, quality and harshness is minimal.
ill Be using organic BioBizz, so do I just keep feeding until I harvest???

I'm going with the scientific study that showed no effect in quality in flushing just so I don't have to worry about timing anything at all. I'll probably skip the nutes when it's obviously close to harvest just to save a tiny bit in time & fertilizer.

Cos it’s my first grow I ain’t got a clue in terms of time frames between tries going milky to when they start going amber etc so I’m hoping I will learn a lot during this first one.
timing stuff like the flush was a big worry cos it’s a lot of effort to mess up on the last few weeks lol

Well, there are a ton of flushing threads. Yet people are constantly asking about when to flush. Most of us don’t flush except after using the toilet.

Flushing robs your plant of nutrients in its vital time of growth. Your plant beefs up during the last couple of weeks.

The logical thing to do is cut back on feeding. Not starve your girls.

I spoke to @MickFoster because we see this daily. You said you read up on flushing yet asked about flush.

That’s about it.

Good luck and only flush the toilet.

however I have also read about people flushing at different times.
on the feeding charts I’ve looked at it recommends not feed 2 weeks prior to harvest (which is a mystery in itself for a newb lol)
Videos I’ve watched say flush.
How does a beginner know what to believe lol, especially like I said, I don’t want to mess it all up in the last few weeks after all my hard work.

You can taper down your nutrients, keep giving less the closer you get to chop, usually my last two feeds are just molasses water

It's hard to be patient at the end, especially as a newbie. There is always a tendency to chop too early which indicates a tendency to probably flush too early as well. Each strain is different in developing so unless one is familiar with the strain or has very good experience it will be difficult to time properly.

No more flushing for me.

Do you have curing jars ready? Proper trimming & curing is the thing to learn now.

In 50 years of growing I have seen one plant that went beyond the harvest window
The guy left it till it died on the vine , beautiful purple nugs that wouldn't get a novice high
So chill, chances of you missing the harvest window are almost nil
Flushing is for lockout due to salt
