Is this light sufficient for one plant at a time

Consider is 120w draw, doesnt use Samsung Diodes. Which makes it less efficient vs a 120w equal Samsung Diode LED light. I cant say how much LESS efficient the light you bought is, but Id start at 25% less efficiency vs a better diode ect. Id give it equal to maybe a 90w Samsung equal.

Id also not believe the specs for sq/ft given by the manufacturer.

IMHO your light is the minimum Id use. Should work though. Also my estimates are just guesses. Id also not dim it, and run it 100%. I veg with a 645w Gavita 1700e, and/or a 1000w Hortilux HPS at no more than 24 inches. Id still get the Consumption F2, and start them on 12/12.
Id start them in ONE Big container as big as my grow area, and as deep as possible. 18in-2ft. Promix BX. Or HP.

I probably would have bought a 250w Hortilux HPS.

Hey dude,

Thank you for honest opinion, I didn't want to have something overqualified for the job. I currently have it on 40%. What would be the negatives of putting light at 100%?

1. Growth is not a spectrum
2. I expected to see a real wattage down in the description... but that shit still say 1500w lol

Sorry bud but no. That's only a 40 watt light and nowhere near good enough to grow a proper pot plant.

No worries. You can find a cheap light that will grow you a decent plant, just not that one. I think one of the biggest issues new growers face is bullshit from companies like that one who claim shit like that being a 1500 watt light. They do this by saying it has 75 LED's and they are 20 watts a piece so it's 1500 watts but when only pulling 40 watts of power it will never be more than a 40 watt light. It is a dominant marketing scan and should be illegal. Don't let it discourage you. Just keep looing around for something in your price range that pulls more watts. If you need any help let us know your budget and we can try to point you at something.

Hey dude thanks for all the help.

A new light arrived yesterday with a dimmer option and pulls 120watt. She defo looks more up for the job than the blurple light. Peace
